Very funny
Great volume. The anime stays true to the manga. Really glad I got into this series. I like how its about college people not high school. And neither of the main characters are whiney.

A funny slice of life
Uzaki-Chan wants to hang out volume 2 continues the manga of Shinichi Sakurai a tsundere who has a friend with a big personality as they get in all sort of adventures. First and foremost the art is fantastic for a slice of life comedy it is beautifully drawn and the characters all have personality. The humor also lands mostly some jokes are funnier than others but it was still humorous regardless the scene with the beach and the watermelon was pretty funny I'm still laughing. The fourth wall also gets broken from time to time and the manga shows you its self aware which adds to the humor. One page shows a fan service friendly version of the waiter from the previous chapter and the author said she was a fan favorite. It was funny. The characters also play-off each other great we get introduced to Sakurai's high school friend and see the cast grow.Uzaki-Chan is a great manga an Anime is coming in the summer I can't wait for that but you should still read the manga for the art alone. Can't thank the Japanese Red Cross controversy enough for introducing me to this series.

Seven Seas Knocks Another Release Out Of The Park
Uzaki-Chan vol. 2 arrived on the scheduled date of release (Tuesday, January 14th, 2020) and in perfect condition. The paper the manga is printed on is just as good as the previous release. No bends, scratches or tears either. The condition alone is the reason for the five stars which it fully deserves. The manga itself gets a 4.5 which is an upgrade of half a point from the previous volume. The series, from what I've read, continually gets better and better. The comedy works more often than not, the characters become more likeable than they already were, and the story continues it's weird brand of romance in this volume. This is genuinely a good read if slice of life and 'opposites attract' romance interests you. This volume contains chapters 14-23 +an extra. Uzaki-Chan Wants To Hang Out! Vol. 3 will be released Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 so if you are reading this before then, you have a chance to see what all the hype is about. Please give it a go!

Those Darn Cats
Okay the random Poop cats showing up everywhere throughout Volume 2 of Uzaki Chan Wants To Hang out are the real show stealer of the volume. Wherever they show up it cracks me up. Like seriously I don't know what is up with them but I hope they never stop. But besides that the comedy/ chemistry between Uzaki and Sakuri is very entertaining. Though by this point I hope that they officially become a couple as I think that could open up a lot of new comedic territory. It'd go along way to starting to make the series stand out from others like it. As is though it's still very enjoyable with a more classic level of fan service more akin to late 90s/ early 2000s as opposed to more modern fan service series. -MickManga

This is my new guilty pleasure!
I am so in love with this manga. Uzaki is cuter than cute, & sassy too (I love that in a girl). I've got more than one "kouhai" myself, who all happen to be boisterous, busty, & full of smart @$$ remarks (and kinda like sempai, I can't get rid of them... sheesh...). So, I totally relate to Sakurai. Art, great. Dialogue, very good. Characters, believable, likeable, & relatable. If you like slice of life and/or fun rom-com, read this manga. Plus Uzaki in a bikini. I love it! "If you like pina coladas, & getting caught in the rain..."

FUN! Despite it being another Rom-Com!!
"The 'Rom-Com' has been done to death!", I hear you cry, but go ahead and give this a read anyways! Why? Because the characters involved are a delight to watch, and NO, not just because the main female character is overly endowed either! Once you start in on the story, you'll more than likely start wanting to see how the characters change and mature, and end up tripping over themselves and their friends and crashing and burning in the process! This manga is just plain FUN!

And That's When I Noticed the Cover...
Why was it necessary? Did we really need to have the cover embossed so that Uzaki's chest is popping out? We get it, she's a busty girl, but it just seems really silly. It's like, one of those things that you know if anyone outside of the anime world saw it, they'd immediately give you that sideways glance. Doesn't help that the dimensions of the book are already a quarter of an inch larger than you standard manga, making this series, so far, really stand out. Both when you're reading it, and when it's sitting snugly fitting in a bookshelf. But that's enough about my minor gripes about the cover, after all, they do say you shouldn't judge a book by said cover. As for the story, keeping in line with the themes from the last volume, Uzaki continues her teasing, Sakurai continues to put up with said teasing, and everyone else is either trying to push the two of them together or just sit back with a bag of popcorn and watch the romcom unfold. We get a beach chapter, a visit to a cat cafe, and a touching hugging scene. Pretty obvious Uzaki is having fun with Sakurai, but she cares about him a lot. Of course the rest of us are much like the supporting characters, either yelling "get marries already!" or just chuckling at the various antics these two get up to

Uzaki 2
Continuing teasing harassment by Uzaki-kun of clueless Samurai-kun. While it is funny & entertaining, I also find it grating because of Uzaki's pursuit of Sakurai. She is definitely attracted to him and in on a course to seduce him. She plays, innocent, but it come off false to me. I am not fond of hyper aggressive characters. I do like the Art Style and design.
