Fast, stable internet
I bought my first one of these back in 2020 and have just bought another for a different pc. It works well, gets me my full internet speed and doesn't drop out. The only issues I've had are with it being a bit temperamental when you move it, and having to make sure the antenna is tight when screwed into the usb stick, otherwise it can be a bit flaky. But since I don't move it, it's worked well, maybe on a laptop it would be more of an issue. It does take a second or two to start up after I've logged into my desktop, but that's not a problem for me. Overall very pleased with the connection that this provides. The ping time and gaming performance is also very good when using the ac WiFi frequency.

So far so good
The media could not be loaded. Installation is easy just screw in the antenna with your hands and plug it into a usb 3.0 port on your PC (should also work with 2.0) preferably on the back of your PC directly to your motherboard (i'd advise against plugging this into the front usb port or through a usb hub/splitter as this may cause issues).I've been getting very good speeds as shown in the picture and video, most usb wifi adapters i've bought are crap which i can say from experience, but i've finally found one that gives me a fast signal at quite a distance from my wifi router. No driver installation needed for windows 10, i've only used this for 2 days if i encounter any problems i will update this review but so far so good.Update 19/12/2020: I've found that if you move the antenna towards roughly the direction of your wifi router, this gives a significant boost in the wifi signal strength. Before, i was getting 100mbps+ download speed, and by adjusting the antenna, i'm now getting 140mbps+ download speed,

Does not work with Mac
Absolutely does not work with MacOS v11.2 BigSur - not with the driver provided. And definitly not work any Linux I tried. It's ok on Windows. Plug and play. Signal stability is better than the builtin adaptor, though raw signal strength is not - even if I swapped out for a 9db antenna. In pratice it does feel a bit faster with this on Windows - would have returned it otherwise.Update: Been using it for a few weeks now and signal is pretty solid, compare to the laptop's onboard wifi. Still doesn't work with Mac.

Fideco I think about it very good product at a good price :)
Hi every one I have not used my laptop for a long time, it is 3 years old the computer wasn't full of files, a bit but the browser started slow to walk system too I did computer full reset, I deleted everything don't fix the problem system ok normal function but not the internet I have a router 4 years from SKY problem started from 3 earlier maybe just the wifi card in the router, it's not working properly I also suspected the network card in the computer was not working properly but i did some tests using my phone as a wifi router / 4G very good connection, browser works fine So the computer's network card is fine when I installed the Fideco wireless USB adapter I am very positively surprised the browser runs fast pages load faster than they should my internet parameters are 21mb / s broadband from Sky broadband look at the photos :) this is a real test :) before and after using FIDECO I think about it very good product at a good price best regards:)

Doesn't operate on 5GHz band
Perfectly good WiFi dongle if you're happy with the speeds available on the 2.4GHz band.It is not, as it advertises, a dual band adaptor as there is no 5GHz functionality included. This will significantly limit your top speeds on this device. If you are happy with ~60Mbps, all power to you but you probably could've spent £5 less for a device equally as capable.

Works at advertised speeds!
Connects at advertised speed and provides as good a connection over WiFi as it ever is. Used with Windows 10/11 and the latest drivers. It's great value and I'm not sure spending lots more money would get you a device offering a better connection. I've actually now bought 3 of these for different systems for when ethernet is unfortunately not an option. Great!

Functionally good, but poor physical design and manufacture
This product worked well when I installed it, easy set up, strong signal etc. But when I came to move the computer it was attached to, without any rough handling by me, it just fell apart. The substantial antenna was attached to the small card with the electronics by what turned out to be three small (dry) soldered joints. Frankly, I'm surprised it didn't fall apart when I was installing it. Very poor physical design and/or faulty manufacturing..... of course, it was well out of the return date!!!

Arrived quickly, plugged straight in, works perfectly - what’s not to like?
Computer kept dropping off WiFi and had to keep resetting the network adapter. Some ‘Google research’ showed that WiFi adapters sometimes just go wrong. So ordered a new one, and this one seemed to get positive reviews.Ordered 6.30 pm. Saturday for ‘next day delivery’ and expected it Monday. It actually arrived 2.30 pm Sunday!Uninstalled the old one, fitted the new - it just goes into a spare USB port. Slightly confused as nothing shown on screen (Windows 10) so went to settings, Internet, fix connection issues, then the message came ‘you have not chosen a network’. Clicked ‘see available networks’, chose my BT Router ID, then prompted to enter network password (which is on the slide out card on the router). Entered password, then ‘whoosh’ - it connected straight away. Seems to work perfectly. A very happy Hector indeed, and for a very modest outlay.
