Nyrius Wireless Smart LED Multicolor Light Bulb for Smartphones & Tablets, iOS and Android App Remotely Controls On/Off, Schedule and Dimming Function, Bluetooth Energy Efficient Home Automation(SB10)

I ended up returning this LED Bulb, because the schedule/timer feature of this Bulb does not work when you are away. The product description clearly states "Once set, the timers will activate even if your smartphone is outside of the Bluetooth range" however I found this is not the case. Bluetooth on your iphone must be turned on at all times for the timer feature to work, and once your out of range the light no longer follows the commands that were initially set.The color of the Bulb is very Blueish, it your looking for that warm glow or yellow color bulb this is not for you. Overall it would not be that bad of a bulb, if the schedule feature worked as described.

The bulb itself seems to be fine, all the colors and dimming work fine. The big issue is this light is controlled via Bluetooth, and the problem is that when you walk away with your phone, the light doesn't necessarily like that. It might change color, or stop doing whatever special mode you had placed it in. For example, the "party mode" will stop if you walk to far away, and even when you don't the party mode seems to time out after 5 minutes. Another issue, we have two bulbs, put them in a "group" in the app and placed them in party mode. They both flashed, but were not synchronized...which would have been much better than the look of two bulbs flashing randomly.Not recommended.

lightbulb itself works as expected, the Nyrius Bulb app, reminds me of iphone 3 GUI, square and choppy but still works.. for a less than $10 bulb using bluetooth, i'd say it's worth it. It's not nearly as bright as a CFL bulb and projects the light in direction of where the top is pointed.

I was very disappointed with this product. The app doesn't even work with it. It would work for a few minutes and then stop. It would never remember the names of the bulbs and wouldn't blink when my cell phone rang. I was even more disappointed that I had to "request" a refund and pay to send it back. However, after expressing my disappointment, they sent me a shipping label. I won't be buying from this company again, but I am glad they refunded my money.

I purchased this to use for the timer capability. It seemed like an easier choice than replacing a broken timer and having to pull out my furniture twice a year to change the timer times. It is a dim light, which is okay for my living room as ambient light. However, the wifi capacity is spotty. Sometimes the light will not go on at the proper time, sometimes not at all and sometimes I get up in the morning and the light is still on. This is a good idea, but it isn't consistent. I would still buy one again, the inconvenience is minimal compared to the price of other bulbs like this.

Cool product however I mixed up this bulb with the color one and accidentally ordered the white. The diming is not super good and I wish that it would still beat to the music even when the screen is off. Also a little pricey.Update: This bulb simply does not do as advertised. It has been programmed to come on at 7 pm and go off at 10:35 pm every evening. Sometimes it doesn't come on at all. Other times it will come on and never go off. Sometimes it comes on early. I don't know that it has ever done what it is programmed to do. Also, it is much dimmer that our previous regular bulb so not good for reading. We have tried to give it some time to determine if it was user error or bulb error and so we are outside of the 30 day return window. Considering that it is a $25 bulb and too dim to function as a normal light, we feel ripped off.

It's pretty convenient when it works. The options to schedule when it turns on and off doesn't seem to be consistent and unreliable. Other times it just disconnects from bluetooth and keeps trying to connect for a few mins until it finally does. Sometimes it would just be easier to use the light switch than waiting for it to connect. I believe it's the app that has the issue because it affects both light bulbs I purchased. It doesn't seem to be the light bulb itself. Hopefully someone can fix that soon.

This is a great product at a fraction of the cost of Phillips Hue, but it doesnt do half of what that does.You cant have your cake and eat it too, this was under 20 bucks people. So nice to use them in tandem with secondary colors and tertiary color schemes. Gotta get a few more, could make a make shift theater lighting set up.The delay timer when the doorbell rings and they go off randomly in the house would be the next thing I would want this to do.

I'm disappointed by this light bulb, and I thought well, you get what you pay for. The brightness output is pretty low, and in a small room this light bulb cannot do a great job at lighting it (even the plain white light). Also, the app is buggy, and it's not updated for iPhone 6/6s/7 screen size. Another thing is that it doesn't cycle through different colours gradually. It only abruptly changes colour to make it more like a party setting, but it would have been better to have an option to change between colours gradually to make it more soothing.I am getting another light bulb, much brighter one to use in my room to light up bright in the morning to make it easier for me to wake up in cold dark Winter mornings here in Canada.

The bulb is standard size and emits a bright white light. The white is blueish rather than yellowish. It can function as a normal dumb bulb, or be controlled via an app. The app, I use the iOS version, gives you the ability to dim the bulb, or have it flash, react to music, and set a timer. The packaging was very nice.One of the reasons I bought it was to support a local Canadian company. I hope they come out with a wi-fi multicolor version.
