Come To The Well by Casting Crowns (2011-10-18)

Casting Crowns are a Christian rock band but don't let that put you off. Their songs have really nice lyrics and the themes of love and hope are a nice change to the usual, themes in rock. the music is quite poppy and they have alot of slower numbers but the songs are good to sing along to even if you don't particularly hold their views they have good catchy melodies and things. This music is aimed at fellow believers so for some it will feel like having things shoved down their throats the best thing to do then is not listen. However, Generally the songs are good for singing along to and feeling happy. all in all something good to try if you are after something different

Really great album, new to discovering our faith and this is helping immensely on our journey. I am finding every time I have an issue or thought that troubles me one of the songs pops into my head and is appropriate to the problem. I have purchased 3 other Casting Crowns albums and found every song touched me in one way or another. Keep up the good work Casting Crowns, we will definitely be buying more albums.

I bought this as i like casting crowns music, being an avid listener of UCB UK radio. Its songs remind you that you are not alone in this world, and their musicality is superb. I have other albums by casting crowns and would highly recommend their music if you're new to the christian artist music scene. At a good price too, cheaper than the high street.

I'm working my way backwards through Casting Crowns albums, started on Thrive and have jumped back to this. I absolutely love this, City on the Hill in one my favourites along with Jesus Friend of Sinners and Just Another Birthday. I love the lyrics the CC write, so powerful and wonderfully sung.

Bin bisher von Casting Crown sehr angetan. Diese CD ist nicht ihr Meisterwerk.Die Abwechslung in den Arrangements fehlt. Immer der gleiche Aufbau ohne spezifischenWiedererkennungswert. Es lohnt sich aber sehr die Texte aufmerksam mit zu lesen.Wie immer sind die Texte sehr gut, mit Tiefgang und kurz und bündig auf den Punkt gebracht.Aktuelle Minipredigten im guten Sinne.Demnächst mal wieder bitte mit etwas mehr Drive und Pep und Abwechslung.

Diese CD ist ebenso genial wie alle anderen CD's von Casting Crowns. Ich bin begeistert!!!!!!!!!! Die machen einfach genialen Lobpreis!!

"Come to the well" reicht nochmal an die erste Platte von Casting Crowns heran. Gerade " the well", City on the hill und Spirit wind überzeugen einfach.

Dieses Album gefällt mir sehr gut, wie auch die anderen die ich von Casting Crowns kenne. Für jeden der diese Musikrichtung mag, sehr empfehlenswert!

Eine wundervolle CD mit tollen Melodien und noch besseren Texten. Ich bin sehr begeistert und schon gespannt auf das nächste Album.

Ich bin ein absoluter Fan von der Musik und empfehle diese auch immer wieder weiter....Und es macht Spaß anderen eine Freude zu bereiten.

Erneut kamen mir bei einigen der Titel die Tränen. Casting Crowns macht großartige Texte, auch bei diesem Album wieder. Dazu eine schöne, eingängige Musik mit Power, ohne zu perfekt und künstlich zu wirken. Volle Empfehlung!!

Die CD ist für alle empfehlenswert, die gerne einen biblischen Bezug zu Liedtexten haben möchten. Zu jedem Lied gibt es zahlreiche Bibelstellen als Grundlage für den Text.

Das Produkt ist schnell geliefert und die Qualität ist gut. (Lief erst nicht gut auf zwei Geraten, aber es lag wohl an den Geräten...) Tolle CD!

キャスティングクラウンズのＣＤはどれをとっても本当にはずれがありません。歌詞も音楽もいいです。日本の多くのクリスチャンに、またノン・クリスチャンにも知って頂きたいバンドです。「キリスト教」という宗教ではなく、生けるイエス・キリストの愛・力・自由が伝わってきます！

I am not very familiar with the work of Casting Crowns, but I recently read a fantasy novel entitled Heartless. Another fan of the novel said that one of the group's songs, "Wedding Day," beautifully complimented the allegorical tale. I looked up the song and was immediately mesmerized by the beautiful melody and tear-inducing imagery of the lyrics. Needless to say, I purchased the album which had the song. The whole CD is incredible. Each song is memorable and a heartfelt plea for revival, action and truth. I loved how the music was contemporary yet not overpowering. The lyrics were clearly discernible. My favorite songs on the album were as follows:1. "Courageous": A call to fathers not to forsake their God-given duties to be leaders in this turbulent world. This song was also featured on the wonderful movie of the same title.2. "City on a Hill": A song that will stick in your head, slow yet catchy. In story form, the song is an allegory about the church and a plea for all members to remain steadfast. A beautiful plea for division and pettiness to cease.3. "Jesus, Friend of Sinners": Outstanding song that should make all believers examine their own lives to determine their attitudes toward others.4. "Just Another Birthday": Poignant song about a daughter's desperate search for a Father's love.5. "Wedding Day": An allegory about Christ's soiled bride and His delivering work. The greatest "fairy tale" is true.6. "My Own Worst Enemy": This is the most intense song musically and an unforgettable prayer for rescue from ourselves. (Romans Chapter 7).These songs are just a few of the wonderful numbers on this CD. Please give this album a chance. God bless you all.
