Nice 5 tier planter
I bought one of these 5 tier planters, and the same day the one I had ordered was delivered by Amazon, my mother brought me one that she had purchased as a gift for me. I took the products out of the original boxes and placed them on a shelf in my dining room. A couple of days later, I decided to plant my strawberry starts in my planters. After I got 4 tiers planted, I realized I was missing the 5th tier. Then I counted the tiers in the other set. Both sets had 4 tiers. I gave a review that this was not as advertised. Last night I found the missing 2 tiers in my garage. I have no idea how they got there. Hence this revised review. The product is as advertised and seems to be a quality product. I only have one full united planted, but am very happy with the product.

Sturdy Easy to Assemble Broccoli Tower
I stacked 2 sets of the smaller Mr Stacky together, which are easy to assemble. I added a small irrigation pump, food grade irrigation tubing, a pvc pipe in the center for sturdiness and planted broccoli I grew from seeds under grow lights in stages so my harvest continues. I used 4 foot led lights 6500 k and a trellis to secure them on. I used a 5 gallon bucket for the reservoir. I planted a baby bush watermelon and Minnesota midget cantaloupe on the bottom. The trellis is support for the melons. I planted several Marigolds because they deter insects. Despite being in a basement laundry room aphids can find their way into a home. I used coco coir, Vigaro earthworm casts and perlite which keep the unit light weight. I irrigate 3 times a day for 5 minutes per timer. Lights are 12 hours on timer. I use Mr Stacky all purpose fertilizer and calcium supplement. I use 2 teaspoons per gallon as recommended on their label. Economical way to grow broccoli year round!

Easy to assemble and use, looks good but is not as stable as I had hoped.
The tower garden arrived simply in an Amazon box with the items stacked inside. No brand box or anything. I was a bit surprised to receive these without any original packaging! Other than that, everything was fine the various parts of it. It is extremely easy to assemble and comes with a bottom drip pan, which is great for keeping a bit of moisture, but the bottom part does not give it the expected sturdiness. Maybe it needed some 'feet'. I love the 'flow through' design, which makes watering the plants very easy. This is not the best photo. There are more plants on the other side of the tower garden. I have filled it up more since. Time will show how well everything will grow in this tower garden. I am very confident that this system works great once the plants start growing after a few days. I only gave it 4 overall stars because I could only apply 3 to the sturdiness scale. If this tower garden came with a turntable as a drip tray, this would make handling it much easier when it is filled up. If you want to turn it and move it around, you have to carefully pull it so it won't tip over from the weight. You can't pick it up since the 5 tiers come apart in that case. If it keeps up well this summer, I will very likely get 1-2 more and also give some as gifts to friends. I will gladly write an update after I had used it for a while longer. At this point, I would recommend it to others, who need something not too large in their garden/yard or on their balcony.

Solid purchase so far. Time will tell more.
I bought one for myself and another for my mother along with 2 sets of 20 bare roots Everbearing Ozark Beauty Strawberry Plants. Mom and I are both fairly new to gardening, but our plants are flowering and look healthy, and we both love how they look. I haven't had any trouble with it falling over even though I have nothing anchoring it. It seems fairly sturdy when well-watered, and we have seen some good winds here since I set it up and my toddler regularly pokes at it. I'm really wondering how this will hold up next year, since in my experience a lot of plastic containers will break down and become brittle with the weather. If it holds together well, I'll probably get more next year! 5/3/2017 update: I have 3-6 strawberries growing per plant! Unfortunately, my mom's strawberry plants died, though after discussion, we realized she had both been moving it inside/outside with the cold and keeping it in the shade, so both factors may have contributed to their demise. Dad loves the look of it though and they're both excited to have learned from the experience and try again another time. Also my toddler did pull off the top layer once. However, I was able to easily stick the freed dirt/plants back and place and no harm seems to have come from their little adventure. 5/13/2017: update: I'm harvesting strawberries every 3 days and collecting ~8 strawberries each time. They're mostly smallish, but it's an ever-bearing variety, so no surprise there. They are more tart than expected for the variety. Research suggests it might be a spacing issue, but on examination several of the "pots" appear low on soil, so I'll fix that and hopefully get sweeter strawberries moving forward. Handy thing about this container is I could easily move the whole thing into the cage with my blueberry bushes, protecting it from birds, rabbits, and other wildlife. Though tart, we are definitely enjoying them. 7/29/2018 update: I fell behind on watering last year and all my plants in this planter died. The ones I planted in the garden survived and fruits this year. I don't regret my purchase, but I think I'll wait until I have a better watering system before I use this again.

I purchased this for my daughter to plant some strawberries in. She's very happy with it. Will see how the strawberries grow and mature in the planter

Genuinely surprised at how well this works . Excellent value for money . Feels flimsy when first assembled but once plants are in the weight of soil soon sorts that out . Very healthy strawberry plants thriving .

I love the fact that there are 20 spots to plant into. Great product to grow many items in a small area. Easier to keep weeds under control. Wish I had found these a long time ago.
