Why does the description say cruelty free if these are real mink?

One needs to understand what cruelty free means of anything whose fur, skin or parts are obtained for consumer domestic use. It means that the animals fur was obtained and/or the animal housed/treated etc in a human and safe way. Often times they are not. With that being said here is more info. Per PETA's Australian website: Mink lashes are often sold as “100 per cent cruelty-free” or “safely collected from a free-range farm” or even “taken only after the minks have been brushed“. ... In fact, though, minks are confined to small, depressing, cramped wire cages in highly unsanitary conditions. Per Boston Magazine Website: “These lashes are not PETA-approved. Even if the companies that sell mink eyelashes claim to obtain the fur by brushing live minks, those minks still suffer on farms and ultimately will be killed for their fur. Chinese vendors put this on their lashes so you think they are real. Real mink is very expensive $300 - $500 per set with a lash tech. As the young stated they are silk, or faux mink so the cruelty free statement is to have you think they are real.

Are these 10-15mm lashes ?

I believe so. They are dramatic but not to exaggerated.
