Brilliant
Got this as I’ve got lots of reptiles in bio active enclosures. So plant growth is important. Ended up putting it in my aquarium hood as what I had in there wasn’t great.This isn’t water proof so I siliconed it into place and made sure it wouldn’t get wet from the humidity. (It’s not in the water. It’s over it in an enclosure)The day/night cycle is very good. Smooth colour changes, picks out the colours in my fish really well. The remote is fairly simple to use and the whole thing is fairly user friendly.It does seem well made. Sure it’s not a fluval plant led or an aqua sky but then it’s not £200 either.Whether it lasts for a long time or not remains to be seen and I’ll update the review if there is any real change or it fails.If it lasts a while with no issues I’ll take a punt and get 10 of them to move all my reptile enclosures over to these.

Brilliant!
Excellent light, and probably more cost effective than buying a new fluorescent tube every 12 months or so. Greatv24 day/night cycle with gradually changing lighting conditions, some user definable modes and the ability to change lighting manually if you prefer.Great value, just remember to seal around the wire, the IR bulb and the edge of the glass to avoid condensation risks

Great light, just seal first!
This is a fantastic light, its bright and the 24hr function is great!.... The only downside is it had no IP Rating!... I would strongly suggest you seal the unit first before using it. I personally sealed the point where the cable enters the unit, around the ir sensor and around the edge where the clear perspex meets the black unit itself... Hope this review helps.

It’s not waterproof
It’s a cheap light, it’s not waterproof so you’ll need to fix that before use, otherwise it just fills up with condensation and goes pop after a few days.Really not worth the money for a fish tank light but would be fine somewhere else

It’s perfect
This product is amazing , it really does take the stress away from my fish with just Gently changing the light from bright to virtually off over a 24 hour period , I work lots of different shifts and when I’m home I don’t need to worry about the light being on too little or to much I really can’t recommend this enough

Poor value for money
Had to seal the light edges and round the infer red light due to not being water proof then after 4 weeks the programable part stopped working altogether,when it works it a good light,but i wouldnt be buying another again due to the waterproofing issues..sadly its chinese and that says it all realy

Good
The remote is not very sensitive. Have to be right close up to the sensor to work it. Easier doing it manually. Light itself is good.

Much better out there
None of the colours show like description the remote control does not work it has a mind of its own would not recommend
