Low-sugar breakfast cereal
It's important to note that although these are wheat free, they are NOT gluten free. These spelt flakes have the texture of small cornflakes and a similar taste, without the high sugar levels, so are suitable for diabetics and anyone else who is following a low-sugar diet. The bag is a 'crinkly' film that is difficult to re-seal, so it's a good idea to put the flakes into a re-sealable container. As well as being a breakfast cereal, these are also good for making a crispy crumb coating or for use in baking eg similar to cornflake cakes.

Very nice
My favourite cereal. it's very similar to the long-discontinued Force, last produced by Nestle, and much better than Rude Health's spelt flakes or any others I know of

A little worried
I don't seem to be able to get hold of the seller. But having put some of these on some granola and some milk I finished it. I started to cough, every minute or so. Didn't feel like something stuck but cough kept on and became more insistent, like something stuck. Big cough and out popped a piece of the spelt. It was not dry nor was it the granola and then another small bit as coughed again. Never happened to that to me before and unsure why it did that but obviously a piece had got stuck and didn't want to move. So am now worried. I also notice that there is 0.8 of salt which is quite a lot for an organic item as we should be trying to lower salt content. Beans have 0.9 and they have too much. That is why only 3. Hope I can get hold of the seller must be something that all but glued itself to my throat, so what it is? We don't need that.

Great taste
Can't find these in local shops anymore so great to find them on Amazon. They are unique and delicious, although expensive compared with, say, cornflakes as a packet doesn't go far.
