I bought this book for my niece, and as a former high school science teacher with a degree in genetics, I can confirm the information is accurate. It's a rare and fun way to introduce complex science in a format that's colorful, engaging, and full of cute characters.Her parents teased me, saying there’s no way she understood any of it—but she loved turning (and occasionally chewing on) the sturdy board book pages, and I loved sharing one of my favorite science topics with her. She may not grasp it now, but thanks to this book, she’ll be one of the only preschoolers who knows what DNA is.

My daughter is in school to be a nurse so I thought I would get these for my grandkids. They are always looking over her shoulder or are around her while she studies. These are just the cutest little books for her to read so they can help them understand what she is studying!

It seems to me that so far she is only learning about the shape, or she is trying to memorize different shapes buy this book. Naturally she is more interested in animals and cartoons. I am learning and trying to memorize the terminologies myself!

I have bought this book for all the new babies born into my family. this is an adorable book and I love the graphics

I’m a biochemist and I bought this for my friend’s one year old. I fact checked before giving and everything is accurate (and adorable). Results are still out on whether my friend’s kid is a scientist but I’ll update in approximately 20 years to see if this book aided in my plan of getting her to be a scientist one day.

This is my 4 year old nephew's favorite book. Seriously. The science is legit, and fairly easy to understand. I absolutely get a copy of this or one of the others in this series for every baby shower I am invited to.

As a biochemist I love this!! Its super cute and simple. It doesn't go crazy overboard but also doesn't make it crazy simple. I got it when my son was about 7months and I read it to him, he loves the colors. And yes, he won't fully understand it until he's older but that's where I come in, to help him understand better.

Perfect book, good for a future scientists.
