I've tried several different tools/ methods to make poached eggs. The last time I made poached eggs in the microwave in a small cup I reached in to get it and scalded my hand. I then considered a more expensive countertop plug in device but really didn't like the hassel of cleaning and storage.Then I came upon this gem!! Works perfectly for me. CLEANS EASILY, DRAINS EASILY AND NO WORRY OF SCALDING OR DROPPING. This even has a place in the center to crack the egg.I like my yolks runny with the whites cooked. You might need to adjust timing related to the power of your microwave. There is a guide book that comes with it.I'M BACK TO ORDER ANOTHER ONE!!

This is the third kind of microwave egg poacher I’ve got! So far, it’s the only one that cooks my eggs right, thanks to its great design and thorough, detailed instructions! The other 2 egg poachers I have keep over cooking the eggs in the microwave, which annoys the h-e-double hockey sticks outta me! (I want the egg yolks to run, when I poke my fork at them!)This particular egg poacher’s instructions thoroughly outline the different timing and temperature settings to use for different types of microwaves. So, those helped me to correctly adjust my microwave settings so that it cooked my eggs properly! None of my other egg poachers came with such meticulously detailed instructions! Plus, this particular egg poacher brand told me to also poke a tiny hole or 2 in the yolk, so as to prevent the eggs from exploding in the microwave! So very glad I bought 2 of these egg poachers—not only are they well designed and have great instructions, but Amazon did a great job shipping them to me very quickly and smoothly!!!

This is a breeze at breakfast time but you have to do some experimenting to get the timing right. No butter needed. Nothing sticks to these cups. I think it’s best to keep the heat level at around 800 watts because eggs don’t cook well at a high temperature. It’s a little tricky to get the white cooked but the yolk runny.

The product seems to be designed and made very well; however, so far, every time we have tried it, one of the eggs explodes. We have tried changing the energy number, and also the size of the eggs, and also the amount of water put in. The only time the egg did not explode, it was not fully cooked. We will keep trying once in a while, and maybe one day we will figure out the perfect formula of all variables. It is not easy. We went back to just scrambling our eggs in the frying pan as usual.

I love how easy it is to remove eggs from the poacher. They just slide off to the toast. Perfect poached eggs every time.

I ordered many different egg cookers from Amazon. This one is the BEST. I am so happy with it, I ordered more to give to friends to use.Its easy to use. Easy to clean. No more peeling eggs from boiling water.

Well designed and easy to clean. The only improvement that I would suggest is to add one additional circular central drain hole in the two baskets provided.

I had an older microwave poacher for years. The eggs usually exploded. So we tried this one today. IN our little microwave it was 1 min and 15 for hard yolks. My husband loved it as the eggs are really cooking in water. They tasted wonderful. I've just thrown everything into the dishwasher but really.. it would be quite easy to handwash. This is going to be a new staple for us in the kitchen.

I love this. I get the perfect poached eggs. Actually having water PLUS a lift outta drain makes this exactly how I like my eggs

I now use this item about 3 times a week. no more butter. follow the instructions and yours eggs will come out perfect. You have to know the power of your microwaves.

Love the speed of cooking and the easy cleaning. The quality is good but the price is fairly high for only two eggs. A 4 or 6 egg or more model would be great for families.
