Magic in a bottle
This stuff is magic in a bottle. I had a friend try to cover a lot of scratches on my 2017 Toyota Camry. The original paint job was black, but when the sun hit it, it had a cool iridescent, blue and green and he covered it with these black splotches that why I brought it to the body shop, they basically told me it was totaled and that it the whole thing would need to be stripped and repainted and I even brought it for a quote of a new paint job and they said $3000 And then one of the guys at the body shop pulled me aside and said hey dude buy this product and he said all you need is a nice Microsoft cloth and go over it gently and it’s gonna remove all of the black paint that your buddy sprayed to cover up the scratches not only did it remove all of the paint but it took off any grease grime and junk that was on top of the original clearcoat. My car looks like it just rolled off of the car lot. It took stuff off of the clearcoat. I didn’t even realize it’ll clean paint off of chrome you can use it on the rims of your car to get hard to get stains or break dust off. It’s an amazing product and for me it did work in two minutes. Less is more go soft and slow. You definitely need an elbow grease and a higher quality, Micro fiber cloth. I highly recommend this product. Don’t expect it to rip the paint off of a bicycle, but it’s more to get stains and grime off or spray paint off of a wooden table.etc this is not paint thinner big difference which for me is good because paint thinner would’ve damaged the paint on my car. This just removed the unwanted spray, paint, unwanted marks, and grime and left the rest with a little bit of residue, but after running it through the car wash the car looks amazing.

Works great!! As always!
5 Stars! Worked as EXPECTED. For those having difficulty, it has to be user error. I used 5 generous coats of the 2 Minute stripper on an aluminum heat-shield with approximately 10 coats of primer and paint. The part had been cleaned up and resprayed over the last few years, so I knew I had some work to do. Once I was able to break through the paint, softened enough, with a plastic “razor blade”…I just scraped the paint right off. A few more coats to get the stubborn areas and it was good as new. I dry wiped the part free of as much paint, then washed the residue off with lots of heavy dish soap and hot water. Buffed the heat shield up and slapped it back in the bike, all within 30 minutes. If you are expecting TikTok type of reaction/result of the paint just miraculously lifting off of the piece you’re working on, then you’ll be disappointed. If you understand that the product needs to attack each layer one at a time, and that some elbow grease, with proper PPE, is involved then you’ll be happy to give 5 stars!

Not effective, can't recommend.
Followed the directions to the letter.Trying to strip several layers of paint from an exterior metal door. Took the door off the hinges, applied the product as directed to a 16" area of the door. Waited. Scraping didn't work well. Scraped, cleaned and then reapplied. Scraped again. After 2 hours of scrapping I gave up. Decided it would be easier (and cheaper) to simply purchase a new door.I can't recommend this product.

Not the best for painted aluminum
Didn’t do all that well for removing paint off of aluminum, softened a little, but had to scrap and sand like hell to remove

Works Okay on Larger Areas, But Disappointing for Detail Work
I was drawn in by the bold advertising, but unfortunately, this product didn’t quite match its claims—at least not for the small areas I was working on.What I liked:The application is simple and the product feels sturdy and well‑made. On larger surfaces, it seems to make decent progress when left on as directed.Where it fell short:For small spots, it felt overwhelmingly inefficient. I had to apply multiple coats and let it sit longer than suggested to see any real paint-lifting action. It definitely did not live up to the "one-and-done" efficiency pitched in the ads. I spent more time scrubbing and reapplying than I expected.Bottom line:If you’ve got a big surface and don’t mind waiting—which might get annoying with detailed work—this stripper might be worth a shot. But for quick, targeted clean-ups, it's not nearly as effective as advertised.

Great Purchase
This product works very well it stripped the paint off my table with ease, but the smell is strong so make sure to wear a mask and do this outside in the open. it was very easy to use, I poured it on the table it sat for 30 minutes, and the old paint scraped right off

Where are the old formulas this stuff is barely useful.
I am using this right now, waiting for a frame to dry. I've already put on 2-3 coats and I can see it will need more., probably the entire quart. This is not a tough job, nor a large one. Klean Kutter's products are discontinued - they were great! This stuff is mild, just pushed the paint around, then it re-dried. Seems like all the "evil" chemicals that have been banned in paint removers leaves us with a product like this one that barely works. It works. Just barely, and with more effort and waste. Two-stars, cause I don't want to blame the company, it's probably not their fault, it's the chemicals or lack that they have to work with.I just checked it, and I'm sorry I ever started this project with this product. Maybe if you can pour it on and leave it for 15 minutes as one other reviewer suggested, it could work. But on a frame like this or any other non-flat or ornate wood, using this stuff means lots more work and waste. Phooey to this. I'll probably have to toss this frame now, and since I used too much of the product already, looks like no return will be possible. Don't buy. Try looking for something more powerful, or maybe some old Klean Kutter back-stock.So I just threw the frame away. This product claims it will remove paint and varnish. I have a hard time believing this will work on varnish. Sunnyside does make a good turpentine that I use, btw.
