Very versitile screw.... my favorite!
There is a great variety of this type of screw by GRK in various lengths. It is very useful as the truss head distributes the load to hold in the wood well without splitting. Whenever possible, I use this type of screw as it allows super hold and a very low profile due to the head design. I do find that pre drilling a starter hole is advisable as to drive without it is difficult. For many uses, this kind of screw will provide the best performance possible.

Wish I would have found these years ago.
These screws work great - no need to drill hole while using to install cabinets. The provided drill bit and the designed of the screw head make for a positive fit to drive in the screws. Painted heads are hardly noticable in my new kitchen cabinet install.
