Microsoft Surface Book, Intel Core i5-6300U, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, LCK-00001 - (Renewed)

Received Surface Book 1, registered it with Microsoft and immediately installed Windows 11. Yes, see all youtube it is very simple. It works much faster and better in Windows 11 than 10. DO NOT fall for suggestions that Win11 does not work on this laptop. See pictures. I purchased used one ($249) (Avoid $279 or $280+ options as bunch sells it for less than $250. Just search Amazon properly) + Pen ($15) + USB-C connector ($10). So with $270 + tax, it looks like $1K laptop. Only think I wish it had was USB-C connector for charge. It let me to buy $10 separate connector as all modern laptops do have it and this one does not. Due to it, gave only 4 starts for money as $270 is also not less. But it is work due to its one of the best screens and web-cam. LOVE IT for now. Hope, it will work for long time (figure crossed). Please google how to install win 11 on it or you will miss the actual fun. Take care.

The computer came already signed in by a neutral account which has no administrative abilities. So I had to reformat the drive and we put in the Microsoft surface software. Really disappointed in this buy. It may be inexpensive but it ain't worth it. My opinion only.

This Surface Book replaces a 6 year old one that I have depended on. As received, it looks and performs as new: the batteries (in the screen and in the keyboard) both charge to 100%, touchscreen tracks perfectly, no missing pixels in the display that I can see and cosmetically as new. Very happy with the purchase.

THe listing here is kinda Terrible, I had to order the Laptop 3 separate times to get ONE that was in good working order, the first one the battery was busted, BOTH batteries, the second one was completely the wrong product (Got a Surface Tablet not the laptop) And the current one is actually really good, a little scratched up but fully functioning, battery life is amazing and boots like a dream. The sellers sent a checklist showing they tested each facet of it and it feels great knowing this. I am enjoying the PC greatly.Don;t trust Amazon's renowned Policy though, they don't test the items, or even check the packaging, all three computers came in a AMazon shipment box, but were fully sealed boxks in side the Amazon one with no tampering done to them. Amazon doesn't check the products, but you should be Well aware of what you ordered and check everything over before settling. You'll get a good product most of the time but always check everything.

Definitely buy this is if you enjoy having a laptop an a tablet all in one!!!?I just bought this an i really enjoy it everything about it is awesome to me !! The only thing that sucks with the newer laptops is that they don't come with a disk drive but that's not with just this laptop that's pretty much all newer laptops so if you still mess around with CD's you'll have to buy a usb disk drive which is like 30 bucks not that much !! But yeah all an all you'll love this laptop !!

Well I thought I would get to review the seller. The computer didn't work so I cannot comment on it. It was a bad experience with the seller. But this has been my only bad experience with an AMAZON seller and we have been Amazon customers for more than 20 years. It took a while, but I'm happy with the final outcome. Thanks Amazon.

I purchased a Microsoft surface book and tried updating it and it says its not eligible to update. After further research I realized that the secure boot setting had been disabled. When I tried re-enabling it , the UEFI Settings were protected with a system password… That I do not have. Is it possible to get the password so I can update the computer to windows 11 or can I get a replacement. Why would you sell it with an administrator password on it?Thank you
