Extremely good ...
Very efficient and reasonably compact- not the cheapest to run but certainly helps to dry laundry and reduce excess moisture in general - not too noisy either. Some reviewers had an issue with emptying the unit but I found it very straightforward- moves really well on hard floors - not great on carpet - overall very glad I bought it.

Best purchase of the year
This dehumidifier works great and noticeably cuts down on excess moisture in the air. It’s quiet, easy to use, low noise and the water tank is super easy to empty. Compact and efficient, it fits well in my living space and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Good but cluncky
Works well, a little noisy but blends into the room and doesn't look awful. I prefer that it is black rather than white. It is supposed to be pulled away from the wall which makes it a little awkward to find a good spot for. Simple to use and the buttons are inuitive. A bit heavy but the draw comes out seperate. I find it a little cluncky to pull out and tip away the water and am often clumsy and spill a little but that might just my cack-handedness! There is a hose to attach but I am yet to use that. Pulls a lot of water out the air and specifies the humidity level on the top. I would change a few things about the design but it does it's purpose and having bought it on sale, feel it is worth what I paid.

A Godsend
I wanted to buy a dehumidifier for a long time and I regret I haven't done it sooner . The amount of water it pulls out from the house is enormous. I also use it as I dry my laundry just leave it on the Dryer mode overnight and it's dry next morning. The water tank is massive and I can tell when it's on I can breathe better. My dog is allergic to dust mites and mould spores and been on antibiotics combined with steroids for most of his life . Since my purchase symptoms eased a bit . I cannot recclmend it enough for all especially if you have anyone suffering from the allergy it's a must have at home. It has three modes, smart option, dryer or continuous. Also three levels of extraction. It's not too loud and really I just forget its on. Timer function is brilliant but smart mode does all it needs depending on the moisture lvl in the air I want . I have a large area to cover downstairs combined living room / kitchen and diner and it manages perfectly. It has small whells so it's really easy to manoeuvre as well. Some reviews say about the water container but I haven't found any difficulty in taking it out or putting it back. It has a handle so it's easy to carry , empty and put it back. Of course if you move the machine while doing that you can spill some leftovers in the dehumidifier chamber but it's all logical to me . I think it's an excellent dehumidifier and bargain for this price.

good value, nice quality and look.
good value dehumidifier for our home (the ground floor about 50 sq m). like the timer and auto stop feature., and the wheels for moving it about is useful too. it looks nice in the black colour. pleased for our humid environment, to make it more pleasant., as we live by the coast and it can feel quite cold and damp without it. helps the clothes dry faster too.

Works well
Found this is working good for me as condensation was always present on the windows and this was a good move

5 star so far
Bought this to replace a Delonghi dehumidifier that died after just a years use, so far this one's been very good, not too loud (though all dehumidifiers do make a fair bit of noise on full power), collects lots of water and our washing is drying a lot faster.

Decent dehumidifier for the money
So reading consumer reviews I know the Meaco Arete 20L appears to the pick of the bunch - but try getting hold of one!! (I am currently writing this in Dec 2022) So instead plumped for this one which was £90 cheaper than the Meaco and more importantly available. It arrived well packed and protected. Instructions are a little wordy but at least they are clear I suppose. Since using this the humidity in the at winter time has been well controlled. It has a on/off timer function as well as a Smart extract, Dryer and always on function as well. In terms of manoeuvrability I only scored this 3 stars - it does come with castors, so if you are using this on hard floors this would be higher, but I am using this on carpeted floors and likewise as the unit is quite low and I am 6ft, it is just easier for me to lift and shift as needed. There are 3 fan settings, the highest being quite load but strong extraction and ventilation, the lowest being more than bearable for daytime use and, with the TV, hardly noticeable however not something you could have in the bedroom overnight. I have not tried the dryer function yet - essentially in the UK come the Winter months you are best drying clothes indoors, however in a house with high relative humidity of say 60% this can take longer. That said seeing how much moisture this thing extracts during normal use I expect that this will help dry clothes a lot quicker. So if you had pinned your hopes on getting a Meaco I would recommend this unit as an alternative and at £90 cheaper a bit of a bargain as well!
