When I received my rose it was a bit yellow and sad, but that's to be expected with having been in a little box for a few days of transport. Also, they packed the bugger very well with supports and stuff to help ensure it doesn't snap or get totally ruined during transport - props. After some watering and sun the plant perked right back up after a couple days.I will say that due to ordering this shortly before winter I'm keeping it inside in a pot (something they say not to do) as I was not confident in getting it set up for colder weather in time. After keeping one of my cats away from it, the thing's absolutely taken off. It feels like any time I look at it it's sprouted and grown a couple more limbs. Thing's ridiculously green and getting very leafy considering my cat probably had it on death's door with only a few scant leaves and poor coloration. It doesn't have any blossoms yet, but I'm not even sure I'll mind if it never does as it still looks so nice as is.

It arrived healthy and green. It's a decent size. After a few days, it started having new growth on it. Now it's been planted in the ground for a few days and is still going strong.Update: it is growing so fast!Update 2: the last picture I uploaded is from this morning, September 8th. It has been just shy of two months, and this rosebush has grown so well! The small cane on the left side of the picture is about the size the entire plant was when I received it. I am so happy! I'm trying to get the left cane to catch up to the right, but I just started in that endeavor so it will take some time. I'm hoping to get some more growth on it before the winter. I don't have a green thumb at all so we'll see!

Dark Knight (a hybrid tea bred by the French house of Meilland in 2008) is an extremely hard to find variety, there are less than a handful of nurseries that offer it in the USA. It's quite amazing that Stargazer Perennials offers it on Amazon, of all places! I ordered it along with another rose, and it was a five day journey on USPS. Dark Knight was a little bit droopy upon emerging from the box, but given a nice drink of water and next day planting, he perked up and rallied, and is now growing beautifully. Within a few weeks, I had blooms, and the bush continued to bloom profusely throughout the entire season until the frost, with the incredibly deep, velvet, dark red coloration. I'm super psyched to have this amazing rose and very appreciative of this nursery which offers such rare and unusual varieties.

Love these roses, arrived in perfect condition, healthy and exactly what was advertised. I have search for roses at several local nurseries and couldn't find them so thought I would give Amazon a try and so glad I did. Great price and quality rose plants.

I ordered 2 roses from here. They were a bit smaller than expected but grew rather quickly and both have bloomed this week. (I received them 6/30 so it’s been 3 weeks) The bloom is as pictured on the tag when it’s about to open then it turns more of a magenta color. I’m really satisfied though in both of the varieties I ordered. They’re healthy and I’m sure will mature well.

Didn't grow and I have 20plus roses busy and several other plants. If just didn't thrive.

So let me start by saying that I was a little apprehensive about ordering this due to several bad experiences of ordering plants online. I decided to order anyway because all the lawn and garden stores around here only have ordinary boring colors to choose from and that if they are even alive. WOW! Absolutely gorgeous little rose bush! Arrived nice and healthy and covered in buds! Can't wait to put it in ground and watch it grow!
