I purchased the D50 Photography Lighting set for both video recording and live streaming, and they’ve made a noticeable difference in my setup. Each panel is bright, well-built, and easy to adjust. The bi-color range (3000K–8000K) gives a lot of flexibility, whether I need a warm tone for portraits or a cooler, daylight look for video. The included barn doors help direct light effectively without too much spill, which has been a big help in creating cleaner backgrounds. The remote control is another plus — it saves time when I’m mid-shoot and need to tweak brightness or temperature without leaving the camera. Build quality feels sturdy and professional, with panels that don’t overheat even after being on for hours. I also like that they come as a 2-pack, which makes it easier to set up proper key and fill lighting without having to buy extra gear separately. Any photographer will agree -- good lighting is a key element for outstanding photos. In fact, aside from your actual photography equipment, good lighting is the most important factor in capturing great moments. I’ve struggled with finding just the right lighting the past couple of years and that’s resulted in me investing in some less than spectacular equipment. Searching for this type of equipment online can be difficult because you truly never know what you are going to get sometimes. This lighting set-up is amazing and for the cost, you really get a lot of quality from this set-up. I had been looking for a good set of panel lights for some time and finally feel that I have found what I was looking for with this kit. One of the first things I noticed about this kit was how good the lighting stands are. While this may seem trivial, the truth is that there are lots of different styles of lighting stands and many of the ones I’ve seen are flimsy and horribly awkward to work with. Some stands are so bad in fact that I will special order brand name stands just so I am certain they will work for my needs. That said, the stands that come with the lights are remarkably good. They are lightweight, but sturdy. They are easy to fold up and adjust and they lock into place. Since I’ve been using these stands, I’ve not had any doubts that they will hold the lights securely. Set-up of the lights is simple. Once you decide on a power source (cord or battery), you just power them on and adjust the brightness and color temperature as desired by either using the controls on the back panel or the remote (sold separately). The lights have an internal 2.4GHz wireless function that connects the two lights for group control. When you have this feature enabled, you can change the setting on one light and the second will adjust automatically to match. I LOVE this feature immensely and honestly don’t know how I survived without it for so long without it. As far as the quality of the actual light goes, I can’t say enough good about these lights. I’ve been incredibly happy with both the amount of light the LED panels cast and the type of light as well. I have a living room area (approx 15’ x 20’) that I will sometimes take photos in and these LEDs were more than enough to fill that entire room with light. These lights are great to use for tabletop product shoots as well as full-fledged video productions. I love that these lights give you the option of cycling the brightness all the way down to 1% because some lights will only give users the option of 20% as the least amount of light available. Because the lights are ‘edge lit’ they provide a lovely diffused light and you can use them for longer periods of time because of that. This Dazzne kit could very well be all the light that you need - for any set-up.

We purchased a two pack of these D50 lights when looking around for something similar to the Elgato key light. We compared similar options from Godox, Viltrox and Neewer. Even though the Dazzne light had less reviews online, it is clearly the best option for a few reasons: - First, it has a brightness that can be adjusted from 1%-100%. Some competitors only go down to 20% which is too bright for certain uses. - Second it has a great CRI and color temperature range from 3000k to 5800k (anything above or below that wouldn't make sense for video or photography anyway). - Third, the light can be controlled remotely with the optional remote we purchased separately, and doesn't require Wifi. The lights also talk to each other even without a remote so that you can change the dial on the controls for one light and it will immediately update your other lights as well. Having the controls on the light and optional battery power is something the Elgato key light doesn't have. - Fourth, the light is edge lit, just like Elgato's offering which means that you won't see any ugly LED dots on the panel, and they provide a very nice diffused light which means you can use it longer for something like streaming without feeling fatigued from the brightness. The power supply is also more convenient than the Elgato Key Light, because the brick is in the center of the cable, so the brick does not have to plug directly into a socket, thus saving space. The only thing this would have been missing was a stand option that could have it mount directly to the desk, but we found a solution on Reddit that mentioned a "Hack-gato" Key Light, where we could purchase a desk clamp and monopod that could be used to mount the lights directly to the desk. We did just that and it is perfectly stable with two mounted on the desk right now. Even if this light was the same price as the Elgato Key light we would have chosen it instead after getting the desk mount setup. Fortunately, it is actually less than half the price even after purchasing the optional remote, which makes this a steal! Finally, we had to contact Dazzne support about an issue with the remote because we purchased an older version, and they were extremely fast and helpful to respond and even sent a free replacement remote that was updated to control the full color temperature range of the D50. We will certainly be purchasing more of Dazzne's products in the future.

I bought these back in July, they were great for about 3 months until both lights started flickering for the first 5 minutes of them being on. Then in November one of the lights just stopped working. Very disappointed since this was after the return window. There's no reason these lights should have stopped working only a few months after purchased. I rely on lights for my job and this is not what I expected to happen when I purchased these.
