Read the rule book
I loved this boss! The expansion is easy to use and gives a great variety to how the game play goes. The mini that comes with it is HUGE compared to the regular minis. Largely diverse move set as well so be prepared!

The Last Giant
Not the most content for an expansion for the Dark Souls game. However, if like me DS2 was your first, this guy holds a special place as the first Dark Souls boss you might have beat. The mini is good, if not the most dramatic pose.
