Not just (or even mostly) monk fruit. Has saccharine additive!
Extremely misleading. Monk fruit extract is second ingredient. First Ingredient is a saccharine like chemical which will cause BG spike. As soon as I realized this, both bags went directly into my garbage. Really, really aggravating and misleading marketing. This is our health we are talking about. This company should be mortified.

Don’t buy... you can do better
I guess this may be my fault for assuming. I thought “In the Raw” meant all natural and that it wouldn’t be cut with artificial sweeteners. I was getting very bad headaches and I just happened to look at the bag one day and saw a very small font that blended in with the color of the bag that stayed t a in fact not all natural. I stopped using it immediately and my headaches stopped. Monk fruit is good though and takes very little. It doesn’t have an after taste and you can buy brands in here that are natural and are not misleading.

Ingredients Concerns
I was looking for a natural sweetener that has zero carbs and no after taste. This product meets those and why I gave at least 3 stars. The downside is that it contain maltodextrin. Maltodextrin is used as a binder, but it is artificially processed and in the U.S. mostly made with GMO corn. This particular one clearly shows ingredients as maltodextrin and monk fruit extract. I also purchased the same brand shown as monk fruit in the raw in packets and it shows dextrose and monk fruit extract. I'll use the one with dextrose since it is not suppose to be processed or have GMO corn.

Contains maltodextrin
I mistakenly thought the monk fruit in the raw was natural but it contains maltodextrin, which I react to. Not good for people with food allergies.

Calling it a "sweetener" seems deceptive.
I don't know why it is called a "Sweetener" as it doesn't even do that. I got my bag of Monk Fruit In The Raw and the first thing I noticed that it's not granular like Sugar in the Raw is, but rather has the consistency of confectioner's sugar... with none of the taste. In fact, I added two spoonfuls to a cup of Celestial Seasonings Mint Magic tea and the taste was awful.I'm leaving this in the breakroom at work for anyone who wants to give it a go but this was my first and last purchase of Monk Fruit in the Raw "Sweetener".

This is not monk fruit.
I am disappointed in both the manufacturers and Amazon for selling this product. This is not monkfruit. This is a bag of maltodextrin which may or may not have monkfruit. How much monkfruit? Who knows! They decline to share the ratio, which tells me not much.Look if you want to buy maltodextrin then you’ve come to the right place. If you want monk fruit, then move along. Nothing to see here.

OK but not very sweet, you must use a lot of it.
Aside from the maltodextrin filler that is used, the other problem with this product is that it is not very sweet at all. Just to sweeten a cappucino I had to add about 4 teaspoons of this stuff, and even then it was barely sweet. I know its not the nature of monk fruit as I also have pure monkfruit sweetener, and it is very sweet. This seems very diluted and is definitely not as sweet as a teaspoon of sugar.

No sugar tonight in my coffee
I ADORE this stuff. All the sweet of sugar with no calories! no awkward aftertaste of any kind! Can use it exactly as sugar in any application, though you do have to be careful about moisture when baking.Have been trying to reduce the amount of sugar we consume in my family and this has done it. All family members love it and have not been able to taste any difference in anything I have prepared.Do be careful when resealing the bag as it's VERY light and airy and likes to go airborne when trying to remove the air pocket from the bag and then shoot out of the corner then leaving a small amount of 'mysterious white powder' for someone to ask about later.
