A Seemingly Good Idea/Concept But Did Not Work As Expected. I Cannot Recommend!
Did not work for me at all! Although a seemingly good idea/concept to help stop snoring, this particular version of theSleepWell Pro Large Adjustable Stop Snoring Chin Strap was very uncomfortable to wear, slips off the chin and does not stay in place through the night while sleeping (at least in my case after trying it several nights), and had a strong odor, as previous reviewers have also mentioned. Yes, it does have adjustable Velcro straps, but even strap adjustments did not help in my situation. I found it completely useless and I cannot, in good faith, recommend it to anyone for purchase. Maybe in the future, some improvements could be made that would make this product a success.

The quality of the fabric is good and does not leave any marks on your face ...
The quality of the fabric is good and does not leave any marks on your face and ok to wear all night. This is for Large heads and had trouble making it tight enough on my head. I think most people would wear Medium size. This product did not help at all. I actually snore more when using this product. Waste of money.

Works well, doesn't slide off
Easy to adjust and put on. Gets the job done with good comfort. Will be purchasing again. Best chin strap I have ever used.

not bad... I would buy it again
I like that it's light, and I can sleep on either side without adjusting it. Like all chin straps, it stretches with each wearing, but it shrinks back after it's washed. My only complaint (1 star penalty) is that the fabric doesn't breathe as well as my all-cotton chin strap. The problem with the all-cotton chin strap is that I have to adjust it when I turn over.

SIMPLY AWFUL. UNCOMFORTABLE, SMALL, SCRATCY. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM
I don't usually take the time to leave reviews ... I know I should because they help me so much when I am making a decision about buying something. But I just had to take the time to leave a review on this chin strap. It is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. First, it came in clear plastic wrap with NO instructions, not even a picture to show you how to wear it. I had to come back here and look at the picture in the listing to see which part went on the top of the head and which part went on the back. Second, it is SMALL. Although it is adjustable, it might as well not be. I have a "normal" sized head and this hardly fits. It is adjusted out about as far as I think it should be without being afraid it will come loose in the night ... and at that adjustment it is just uncomfortably tight. Third, it is SCRATCHY. Horribly, awfully scratchy. I felt the irritation on my skin long after I took it off. I could not imagine wearing it all night. I tried to send it back, so as to not waste $34 for something that is not usable in the least, but it is not eligible for return. I cannot believe this had one of the highest ratings on Amazon. I am back to the drawing board to find an adjustable one that will truly fit and not scratch my skin off.

Comfortable but may not reduce snoring
So there's both good and bad to share about the SleepWell strap. The good is that the strap seems well made and has velcro adjustments in two places for a comfortable fit. I was concerned that it would be bothersome to wear, but the strap gave me no comfort issues. The bad is that it didn't stop or appreciably mitigate my snoring, at least according to my wife. Apparently, snoring can be either throat-based or nose-based. It seems that the SleepWell, like other chin straps, has a chance of working at snore reduction only if the snoring comes from the throat. It won't help in the case of nose-based snoring.

my cardiologist recommended I participate in a sleep study
After experiencing sleep apnea for years, and having it result in atrial fibrillation, my cardiologist recommended I participate in a sleep study. That confirmed sleep apnea and a CPAP machine was prescribed. Long story short, I hated the CPAP machine, and about a year ago I ordered a mouthpiece from American Sleep Union which moved my lower jaw forward and eliminated my sleep apnea (and my need for a CPAP machine)! The only issue with the mouthpiece is that my mouth becomes very dry at night -- but even so it's much better than the CPAP machine!I looked at the Sleepwell Pro head strap and knew that the mouth dryness wouldn't be an issue but I did wonder how it would move my jaw forward enough -- but figured it was worth a try. Bottom line, it didn't work for me. My mouth dryness was much better but I had a sore throat in the morning as a result of snoring.I attempted to get my money back but, so far, at least, the policy is that they don't accept returns. It was worth a try, though. BTW, the blue head strap saved some money over the black head strap.
