The Creminelli Family has produced cured meats for as many generations as are known going as far back as 400 years. The families Italian company located in Italy's Piemonte opened in 1906. Creminelli has been recognized by Slow Food International for their Artisan Excellence for cured meats. Creminelli uses only whole primal cuts of meat, no trim or leftovers, only organic spices and imported gourmet ingredients such s truffles and wine from the highest quality Italian producers. Made with black truffles from Italy, one of the world's most sought after ingredients. The Black Summer Truffles (Tuber aestivum) spring up between June and October in Northern Italy. They are found by specially trained dogs who sniff out their hiding spots where they are then gathered by hand. The local mushroom enthusiats each have a secret spot or two where they hope to find some of their own truffles from year to year. Creminelli has hidden a few of them away in their Salami Tartufo and you are sure to find them there each time you go looking. Their delicate aroma works magic with the all-natural pork to create this fabulous Salami Tartufo. Please allow 5 days processing time for shipment. This salami is really good. Just finished my second order in 2 months
This salami is really good. Just finished my second order in 2 months.I found however that it is cheaper to buy from the Creminelli website directly. $56 for 4 pieces (2 pounds) + $9 shipping, vs $50 for 3 pieces (1.5 pounds) + $9 shipping from this vendor. My guess is this vendor buys from Creminelli, keeps one and resells the 3 others. I can't blame them, this salami is that good.

As good as any I have tasted
Fine flavor and the fantastic texture of aged hard salami just like in the old country. Be sure and cut this in thin slices that is how it is meant to be eaten.

DO NOT BUY THIS TERRIBLE SALAMI
The salami was oozing oil and had a rancid smell. We choked down half a stick and threw out the rest. This is nothing like the wonderful truffle salami we purchased in Italy. BUYER BEWARE.

Good Italian style Salami
Pretty good Salami if you like Italian Salami. Take wrapping off once you get it so the outer skin will dry. It's a lot less messy this way.
