A Hunger So Wild: A Renegade Angels Novel

BEWARE. Love, love, love this series. It is unbelievably good. But BEWARE. I am VERY UPSET because it has been over FIVE YEARS and the final book of this series has still not been written. Unbelievable. This is how Sylvia treats her readers? I refuse to read any more of her books and I have learned to never again start a series by any author unless all the books in the series have been written. Sylvia Day and her publisher need to understand that there are a lot of good authors out there. If this is how Sylvia is going to treat her loyal readers then I will find another author to read. I am done with Sylvia Day - I don't trust her anymore.

Oh wow! A Hunger So Wild is the second book in the Renegade Angel series. And it follows right from where the first book, A Touch of Crimson - Adrian & Lindsays' story, finishes at. This is Elijah & Vashti's story. If you havent read the first book, you must, because you're missing out on all the character & storyline developments to begin with.A Hunger so Wild begins in the wake of the Lycan revolution and a viral outbreak among the vampire minions that puts the Sentinel (angels) in a vulnerable position. Their security has been breached leaving a series of betrayal among all 3 clans.Syre, the leader of the Fallen (vampires) takes advantage of the sentinels vulnerability and sends Vashti, his second-in-command to conduct an allegiance with the Lycans. Despite her hatred for the 'dogs' she obeys her commander and meets with the Alpha of the Lycans, Elijah, whom she suspects is the murderer of her friend.Elijah, the most dominant of lycans (and one of Adrians most loyal subjects), has been forced to take upon the position as the Alpha of the Lycans despite the consequences he may face from the sentinels.Vashti, the second most powerful vampire surprisingly discovers that Elijah happens to be her equal that she never thought she would encounter after losing her mate in the past. Their sexual desires for each other soon develops much deeper than they thought that it conflicts with their loyalty for their own kind. Until they can no longer resist each other they have to come to an agreement that will keep them bound together forever.This book had me hooked from page 1. There's so much more I want to say in this review but I dont want to spoil it for anyone. Im disappointed that it had to end. I just cant get enough of this series that I just want more more more!! And unfortunately I have to suffer and wait the many months for the 3rd book to come.Sylvia is now officially my most favorite Author. Every single book I have read so far of hers (the crossfire novels as well) has had me in love with her writing.I would highly recommend this series to anyone that loves paranormal books with HOT SEXY ALPHA HEROES & HEROINES.

A Hunger So Wild is the second installment in Sylvia Day's Renegade Angels Trilogy. And what a wild ride it was.We begin at the end of A Touch of Crimson where we the development of a viral strain affecting Vampires. We get a better look, understanding and feel between the relationships of Adrian and Lindsay, Lindsay and Elijah, Elijah and Vashti, Vashti and Syre and even Syre an Lindsay.We also see a pattern in what we are realizing there is a conspiracy happening between the supernatural worlds of the Sentinal Angels, Lycans and Vampires. We learn of about a number of betrayals in all three groups.This book involves Lycan Alpha Elijah and Vampire Beta Vashti.I wasn't sure I would have liked the pairing of both Elijah and Vashti. But being that Elijah is a powerful Alpha it would only make sense that he would need a strong heroine. Elijah and Vash's relationship works and works well. Both are strong willed and both learn to work together to get things done.Elijah is sexy, funny, warm and honorable. Vashti is a kick ass female Vampress who is dangerous in her own right. Even though the Vampires and Lycan's don't get along, the chemistry between Elijah and Vashti is powerful and sensual. The hunger between them was HOT. Very sexy and very carnal.They each have their own baggage and hatreds of each other but in the end the hunger for each other proves too strong to deny and they learn that they are stronger working together than at opposite ends.

Well I've had this book on my wish list for awhile now, but I waited cause I had lots of other books I needed to read on my ipad plus after reading the first book I was worried that this wouldn't be as good. Well I was so wrong El was totally alpha but still different from Adrian(book 1).In this book we still here from people in the 1st book and how their dealing but in this book we get a new look @ the wolfs and ofcourse the fallen. Its a page turner for sure and a great story line. I would def read this book again and totally worth 5 stars. My only complaint is @ the end you get a preview of the next novel an it says it was due out feb 2013,and when I looked for it this morning what do you know its been pushed back. Imagine that! And to top it off its not coming out till the crossfire series is finished from what I read (which I love), but yet she's put out a short story on one of the side people in the book and another due out soon???? I do not understand why. Sigh oh well at least she finished the book and no cliffhangers about the romance. A+ for that.

I enjoyed the book but did not realise that the sequel has not been released and probably never will be. The worst thing is that although the first book has an ending the second leaves you completely up in the air. Very unfair of the author/publisher.

Wow is all I can say, I have become addicted to these books and can not wait for the third and final instalment. I had an idea of what would eventually happen and the conclusion that Elijah and vash would make. I loved the battle between vash and Elijah, too very dominant characters that had to learn to bend and adapt to eventually get what they wanted. I am really looking forward to see how the plot unfolds in the final instalment of the renegade angels series.

Really enjoyed this book, maybe even more then the first! Love how its a complete story building over the so far two books soon to be three maybe even four! Loved the main characters in this book and that we still get to keep up with Adrian and lindsay. I have read lots of romance erotic and fantasy books. True blood, nalini singe guild hunter series lost angel series by heather killough-walden etc but i do believe sylvia day has pipped them to the post! I love how your on everyone's side. Each group -lycans, vamps, angels- there r goodies and badies! I do enjoy sylvia:s writing style and her sex scenes are brilliant! I really loved Elijar's character, all animal, with filthy mind!

I have loved all of Sylvia Day`s books so far and this one is no exception. I am hooked on the renegade angels series and so far this book has been my favourite. It captivates you from the beginning and the story is so well written out, with so many twist and turns that keep it interesting. Not forgetting the sex scenes which are so HOT. I wish I didn't have to wait so long for book 3 but I'm sure it will be wort it!!

I love this author and I have very nearly read all the books not just in this series but all series written.She is an excellent author, I love the story lines, I love a series of books and you have that without having to many books to read to finish off a series.Perfect thing to take away with you and read by the pool!

I am truly enjoying this fastpaced series. Loved this more than the first which is wasn't expecting.Sylvia Day has said that Elijah is her favourite of all her male characters and she's not wrong. Vashti is fiesty and cool. These two are up there with MacKayla Lane and Jerricho Barrons in my favourite couples list.Great action, world building and romance - read this (after a Touch of Crimson) - you won't be disappointed

I enjoyed it and in fact have listened to it twice and look forward to reading book three when it comes out. Not sure I like this new Format of audio book. Its just one cd nine hours long. which means having to search for where you last listened to it. Also it would only play on my computer and not on my cd player, and as I only buy audio books to listen to in bed when i can't sleep, it is most anoying that it will not play on my bed side cd player.

Just finished reading part two of the renegade Angel's novel phew what a read sexy, fast paced good storyline I could not put this book down just like the first one the characters are hot as he'll but the story continues and keeps you on the edge trying to workout who is doing all the bad things to the lycans vamps and Angels. Hope there's more to come. Tr

good book a love story about angels and vampires and werewolves

I love Sylvia day her books are exciting and passionate. You can really get into the characters heads when you read. The fantasy of the books is gripping. I like how this book shifts perspective s to different characters. Though I am sad there wasn't much about Adrian in this book I am sure the next one will. The descriptions in the book are vivid and graphic I'm hooked

Good read

I didn't think this could be better than the first book but it is better maybe because I know the carictors better now, as this books about the start of romance for vash and alpha I like her a lot more in this book. Lindsey and Adrian get to know each other better and steamy sex flying wow never gonna top that, full marks.I want the next book prontoe.

I didn't know what to expect when reading this series but it was beyond expectation. Both books, although based on the same story line, were both different due to the different couple orientation. This made it for me. I was gripped from the beginning and have no qualms about either. The storyline is well thought out and keeps you hooked with the same need of the characters. To find out what's going on. There is also a perfect balance between the plot and love making scenes. I cannot wait for the next book to be released.

I am a big fan of reading about Angels and this is yet another concept on how and why they became Fallen. It's a great love story with plenty of action and drama. Will definitely read the next book.

I thought the first one was good but this one is brilliant. I love the whole world that has been created and I can't wait to read the next one. It's finished on a cliff hanger which is brilliant. I can't wait to buy the next book!
