C&D CD4460/25 Valve core with Teflon Seal (Blue), Tapered Barrel

I bought these because I finally exhausted my supply of old-school Schrader Tire Valve Cores that I've had stashed in my tool box forever. Well, at least since the late 1960's. Actually, there's still a couple old ones left in its cardboard box but the rubber has dried out. First thing I did when the new product was try one out in a bicycle tire, and bingo, works great. Appear to be a well made product. These valves will also work for my motorcycle and automobile tires. I imagine this 25-pack will be (beyond) a lifetime supply. Teflon should last way longer than the old rubber ones.

I've replaced a few leaky valve cores with these, and they have stopped the leak so far. Some buyers have voiced their concerns about the seals used in these valve cores; but they've hold-up for me. I will update this post for future reliability of this product.

Haven't used yet but look good

These stem cores are superior in quality and made for a leak free install. It's about 50 cent a piece and a great value for the quality you're getting. The seal if teflon so I'm sure it will last much longer than the previous ones I extracted. Highly recommended purchase!

I have a 16-yo American Standard HVAC unit with R-22. Refrigerant was leaking from one of the ports, and I suspected a bad Schrader valve. Bingo. One of these valve cores did the trick on the first try.

Reputable company that makes a quality schrader core. These are $30 at the parts house, same package and quantity. Recommend getting a schrader torque tool for installing these, it's the easiest way to avoid over-tightening and potentially ruining the seal.
