Puts a lot of paint down
The feel of this airbrush is natural. The trigger pull is outstanding, it is easy to go to pencil lined or lots of paint by the pull of the trigger.I'm thinking I have a small air leak in the gun but it doesn't affect the performance.I've had issues with orange peel finishes with other airbrushes, it could have been the thinner I was using but I was never satisfied with the finish. This airbrush right out of the box worked flawlessly and my DIY thinner did wonders. So far it has been easy to clean and it has been a joy to work with.I can't say enough about the trigger mechanism it works flawlessly and doesn't cause fatigue by having to have your hand in an unnatural position to spray.I had one jam of the needle but a Q-tip with thinner solved the issue right away and I was able to continue spraying with a minor stoppage of spraying. With other brushes, I've had to stop numerous times and on occasion clean them before I could continue spraying. Like I say it could be my DIY thinner helping to eliminate my issues but when I had a good mix before I was continuously stopping to clean the needle from built-up paint on the nozzle.I've not had to take it apart to clean.I'd say if you are looking for an airbrush get this one it works great.

Perfection in Airbrush!
Grex makes the best of the best airbrushes. I have been using the previous XT version for many years until this new TRITIUM TG3 came out. It is perfection!!! It has been greatly improved to be the best one can buy. The cup is a top feed (instead of side feed in the previous XT version) so this improved version sprays and cleans with greater ease. The major advancement is the interchangeable needle sizes. It comes with a .3mm. I have bought all of the others (.2mm for very fine detail, .5mm for medium work and the .7mm for heavy more viscous liquids that are nearly impossible to spray through other airbrushes). There is presently a resurgence of hand made art and illustrations in the digital age and for the airbrush artist/illustrator, the Grex Tritium TG3 is perfection!

Love it
So far i love it. The first brush i reach for, over the badgers or Steinbeck. Comfortable, intuitive and easy to use.

Great higher end airbrush but with some caveats
I love the trigger action of the Tritium TG3. I upgraded to this from the Iwata TRN-1 trigger action airbrush and the improvement was easily night and day. It atomizes paint really well and you can adjust the paint flow from very fine to wide. I purchased a .5 mm needle and nozzle kit so I can cover larger areas faster and with the fan cap spray and cover wide areas fast. It has a large cup that you can fill with lots of paint so you don’t have to keep filling your cup. With a flow improver and retarder you could almost paint a car with it.The only downside is there are a few caveats. First, cleaning the brush is a bit more complicated than cleaning my go-to airbrush the GsI Creos Procon Boy. Because of paint backflow into the trigger chamber I have to completely disassemble it to clean. There are more components than other airbrushes I use which makes cleaning a bit more time consuming and tricky. One thing I do not like is the magnetic fan cap. I’ve lost that piece so many times while cleaning/spraying and had to buy backup parts only to later find it stuck onto someting metal in my garage months later. So be careful with the spray cap because it’s easy to lose or get stuck someplace. The other caveat is that because they use internal brass components you cannot use cleaning solvents like amonia based glass cleaners (Windex) because they will corrode and dissolve brass and they absolutely do not recommend using floor polish like Pledge which is used by many modelers for clear coating because they can cure inside of the airbrush and can only be removed with amonia which will damage and destroy the airbrush components.I have found that because of the irritating caveats I do not use this airbrush very much and rely primarily on my low-maintenance easy-cleaning airbrushes like my GsI Creos Procon Boy for most of my painting because I can do quick color changes and fast cleaning. My Grex Tritium is pretty much only used for priming/base coating larger areas and relegated as a backup airbrush. A shame because it would have been my primary go-to airbrush had it not been for its caveats.

1/24 1/25 scale automotive model builder
This is my second decent airbrush. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star for value is that it IS a bit pricey. I wasn’t sure about the pistol grip style but soon fell in love with it. Pulling the trigger slightly to the first “stop” turns on the airflow. The rest of the trigger travel controls the amount of paint flow. You can adjust the max paint flow if you like by twisting the knob on the rear of the brush. This brush has great control. It can produce smooth clean fine lines and wide spray in one quality built unit. Changing needle sizes is a breeze. The airbrush disassembles easily and can be quickly cleaned between color changes. I really love using this.

Great airbrush / amazon why the up charge?!?
Excellent airbrush this gun has become my favorite you can really get fine lines but takes a while to get use to the trigger style I’m happy with the available replacements and options that come with the brand ( you do have to watch out for slight spitting of paint at the initial pull of the trigger which is common ) however the price seems to have gone up here on amazon I got mines for $169.99

Nice tool!
This is a really nice unit. I like the ergonomic grip. Sprays nice. The hose thread is weird I had to cut an old line but it comes with a fitting to push into the line. So you might just want to buy a hose with it
