These were perfect for my husband who has trouble swallowing pills. They dissolve easily under the tongue in a minute or so and they don't taste bad either. They never gave him any stomach discomfort and most importantly, they brought his vitamin D back up quickly! He took PPI stomach meds for years and it depleted his vitamin D. His was 13 before he started taking these. He takes one 5000IU daily and in 6 months his D level was up to 66! Now his doctor told him to just take it once/wk to maintain a good level.
