So sturdy compared to other brands. I’ve purchased several and they work perfectly for holding bird feeders in winter and then, when better weather occurs, securely holding flower baskets. I’ve even used in my garden during summer for my poles-beans then, come winter, transform them back into bird-feeder poles. Additionally, I find the curvature of the hook especially beneficial at deterring raccoons from dragging away my bird feeders; whereas, traditional shepherd hooks made it easy for raccoons to take off with the whole bird feeder, so far no raccoon has been able to dislodge any feeder on one of these hooks.

Very sturdy and well made. Looks really nice. Love the tall height. I have absolutely no problem with the quality at all. But, due to the design of the top of the hook, my bird feeders hang too close to the pole. I have squirrel proof feeders that are spring loaded and the ports close from the weight of the squirrel. Squirrels are smart. On this one, the squirrels have learned that they can hold on to the pole with their back feet and can reach in and get food. Not having their whole weight on the feeder makes it so that there isn't enough weight on the feeder to close the food ports. I wish I had bought a more traditionally shaped shepherd's hock. On those, the hanging item hangs a little further from the pole and the squirrels can't do their antics to defeat the squirrel proof feeder. This pole would also not work if you used it to hang a basket of flowers. There is not enough clearance and the basket would hit the pole.

The media could not be loaded.  These are good quality and easily hold a hanging basket. They're shorter than I wanted, but that is my fault for not paying close enough attention to dimensions prior to ordering. Would love several just like these, but 2-3 feet taller.

Really like these. All in one piece so no wobbles. They have been in the ground all summer and are great. Definitely worth the price.

Holds real heavy wind chimes perfectly does not bend and yet I used it for my glass hummingbird feeder that I got from mother's Day and it's beautiful you cannot lose when somebody delivers you something that big to your house and it's perfect thank you very much excellent seller

These are heavy-duty shepherds hooks that don’t even need to be protected with Rust-O-Leum paint. It probably wouldn’t hurt, but I didn’t bother. When the pair came to me, I couldn’t believe how heavy they were. Unlike most of the other products I have purchased to hang my bird feeders from, this one was not only very easy to put in the ground, but it holds one heavy feeder. According to the description, the 92” shepherds hooks hold up to 30 pounds. So far, I have one perch feeder and one heavy platform feeder as shown in the pictures. I haven never seen a squirrel or raccoon climb them, probably because they are thinner than a lot of bird feeder poles out there, but I put a slinky on one just to be safe. I do feed the squirrels, but I didn’t want them getting to these feeders. Overall, I love these shepherds hooks so much that I purchased another pair!
