House Again Cupboards/Cabinets Savior, Original Steam Release Accessory for Instant Pot Pressure Cooker - All Size of Duo/Smart/Ultra Model, Red Dragon

The media could not be loaded. This thing is so cool that it’s ridiculous. It has a sturdy fit to my Instant Pot Duo. It keeps steam directed away from my cupboards, and looks sooo cool doing it! My kids love it and get excited about it being their turn to release the steam (NOTE: supervise to be sure the kiddos don’t get their hands, face, or any other skin in the path of the steam- easily 3 feet!) The materials provide good sturdiness and thickness so a good deal of warmth gets through, but the steam doesn’t get it too hot to touch. The plastic does soften a bit with heat, but it’s not an issue.

The media could not be loaded. First of all, I have a Ninja Foodi. The steam would dampen my textured wall and I worried about the clock above. I read that this dragon fit an Instant Pot but I loved the detail so much compared to steam diverters that fit the Foodi that I had to take a chance. Regrettably, the dragon faced the wall when the valve was set to "vent." My husband carefully cut a hole opposite of the original opening with an exacto knife and "tada!" I LOVE it! Not only is it saving my wall and clock, it's so much fun!

When I saw this, I HAD to buy it. It was totally an impulse buy. I was looking for something else when this was "suggested." Thanks a lot Amazon! (Said with only a little sarcasm there.) I absolutely LOVE my fire-breathing dragon. My kids and I get all excited when we get to do a quick release on our instant pot. They even tried putting it on our pressure rice cooker we have as well. (Side note, it didn't fit as well, but it still could "breath" a little vapor out.) The quality seems decent. The painting and details on the actual one we received isn't quite as nice as the picture, but it still looks pretty cool and works the way it should. The material is also thick enough that I'm not worried it will melt from the heat of the steam. My only real negative comment about it is that is totally a frivolous purchase. Does it divert the steam like it's supposed to? Absolutely. But then you still have the condensation that drips from it and around it to clean up, and there are several cheaper ways to divert the steam our protect your cupboards. However, this wasn't an expensive purchase either, so if a little frivolity brings you joy, I say go for it!

I gave it a 2 only because the dragon is quite nice. Does not fit my instant pots, I have the 6 and 8 Pressure Cooker.Update; I found a way to make it fit! Dip the bottom in Hot (Not boiling) water for 30 seconds or so. Then put it on the exhaust. It should fit on and as it cools will conform.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to use and sturdy composition. I have the 6-qt. InstantPot Ultra. Just push the diverter onto the lid steam vent before turning on the pot, then turn the diverter to the desired direction. When ready to vent, just push the vent button and out comes the steam. Sure beats holding up a towel to protect cabinets, and it's amusing!

*edit, the seller did offer me a refund and clearly pays attention to their feedback, so I would not hesitate buying from them again. The product doesn't work very well for it's intended purpose though, so I will not change my rating (I turned down the refund, it is a cute dragon head, we will use it somewhere)* While this dragon is cute, it is big and bulky, only aims the steam one direction, and after a few uses we started to have trouble with the weight of it opening the valve on my 8qt IP. So it was venting steam instead of coming to pressure, and we had to sort of knock it off the valve while trying not to get burnt by the releasing steam. Cute idea, just made too big and heavy, the weight of this thing moves the valve by itself.

This item had to potential to be very neat and we were excited to use it. It did not come with any instructions and we cannot figure out how to set this up. The hole seems too small. I am sure there is some trick to it, but since there are no directions, we can't figure it out. Other than that, it seems well made. Sturdy. Good for a gift, if it came with directions.

I was concerned that there was no mechanical attachment and it was basically just jammed onto the steam vent, but it's perfect. It stays on just fine and is at no risk of falling off or scratching your instant pot because it is rubber.It vents the steam out front, but it won't burn you unless you put your hand directly in front of it. The mouth of the dragon with drip from the steam, but it's only a little bit, no problem.It looks super cool and my kids like pushing the steam release button. I bought one for my friend's birthday.

I really like the idea of this and it is great looking however it's pretty wobbly because it doesn't fit well. I've used it several times and the steam comes out the mouth which is cute and does save my ceiling so it does what it is intended to do. My only issue is that I never feel it's securely on and worry about it flying off -which hasn't happened. I'm going to continue to use it. Just wish it fit better.
