I bought this so that I could play my Nintendo Wii with my CRT monitor that only has VGA input. I'm very happy to report that this converter works perfectly. I also tested out some games, most notably F-Zero GX, since I feel that that game was best for testing if there was any input lag, given how absurdly fast it is, and every game not only looked great but played perfectly. I still need to test this out with my PS2, but I'm very happy with this so far.

I needed to hook a TV monitor up to a VGA source for conference calls and this works great. VGA outputs to standard monitor while HDMI goes to the TV. No issues.

I have an older model HP desktop running Windows 10 with 8gb of RAM and a 1-TB HD. Unfortunately its video output is VGA. I wanted to clone the screen to my smart TV but that input port is HDMI. This VGA to HDMI adapter should have fixed that problem but it did nothing at all. It came with no instructions.But the idea is so basic it should not have needed any. Anyway after trying it out no video signal came through at all. The adapter could have been hollow from all I could tell. I would rate this item at zero if I could.

Works well, splits between VGA and HDMI no problem, only complaint is it requires USB power to work, the cable was included but a power plugin was not and for our application the device we were splitting does not have any usb ports.

It is a good product and it functions very well.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

I wanted to view my recently upgraded computer on my wide screen tv while still having original monitor but I only had one port vga and needed HDMI without losing the vga 💯

Looks well made but did not work for me. Will be returning.
