Helped with terrible colic!
Our baby would scream and scream due to constipation and trouble with gas. We switched to this formula from Enfamil NeuroPro GentleEase after reading the reviews. It’s expensive but we were desperate. It has worked wonders! She still gets a bit fussy but within 1-2 days her gas was better and she slept more and within a week she was pooping once a day (instead of every 2-3 days). Worth the price if you have a colicky baby!

Some insurances will cover part of the cost!
My baby is allergic to cow’s milk protein and this the only formula that works. We got a doctor’s prescription for it and after getting some help from a non-profit organization called Helping Hands, I was able to get my insurance to cover most of the cost, which is amazing because it’s insanely expensive.

This Saved Our Baby's Life! 3 Yrs Later She Still Wants To Drink This!
I breastfed my youngest daughter for first 4 mos. of her life until I was not producing enough milk for her appetite so we started formula. She broke out immediately into a severe allergic reaction with the first use of formula that required a trip to the ER, two Benadryl shots, one Epi shot, and two steroid shots later. Apparently, she was and still is, allergic to cow's milk so the only thing she could drink other than my breastmilk was Nutramigen. We mixed it slowly little by little with my breatmilk until finally when she was one yr old, she was completely on Nutramigen. She had absolutely no side effects or allergic reactions but still got her protein and grew quite well over the years. Three yrs later and she is still drinking it! She does not like the almond milk, or coconut milk we tried and she's allergic to soy so we still give her this formula. I've asked my daughter recently if she likes the taste of it, and she said yes. I guess she's so used to the taste. Well, eventually we have to move onto something else but she still has a severe allergy to milk protein so until then, Nutramigen is her fav drink. She prefers it over apple juice even! It has been costly over the years but I believe it saved her because without my breatmilk, there was nothing else she could stand. Btw, we did try the similar version but she did have a bit of a reaction to that.

Liquid Gold
Absolutely great formula for babies with colic. We had no idea why our baby was crying so much and our pediatrician suggested that we try a hypoallergenic formula like nutramigen or alimentum. The nutramigen is liquid gold I swear. From the first bottle that she received, she stopped throwing up across the room, and her tummy was instantly soothed. It worked faster than the 48 hours that it claims on the package of reducing crying time. My only complaint is the fact that the formula does not mix very well with water, it takes a lot to get it all mixed in. Then of course is the price - but it is worth it to have a comfortable baby. And this is where amazon steps in, it is the cheapest I have found anywhere using the subscribe and save with 4 of the large cans at one time.

Worth the money!
My poor baby has an allergy to everything - including my breast milk! At 3 weeks of age my daughter started to have blood in her stool; she had always been a fussy baby, always had poop in her diaper, and spit-up constantly - being a 1st time mom, I chalked it up to "all babies must be this way." Boy was I wrong in my thinking! As soon as the blood appeared we got off breast milk and tried 8 different formulas (lactose free, partially broken down milk proteins, soy, etc.) the only formula my daughter could handle was Nutramigen. What a lifesaver!!! No more did I see blood and no more did my daughter have constant poops and spit-ups, and she wasn't nearly as fussy. Along the way we tried Alimentum (the Similac version of Nutramigen) and it was so stinky, and so vile, my daughter hated the taste; it even made my poor baby stinky because it seemed to ooze from her pores. Nutramigen itself smells like cheese, but at least my daughter doesn't stink. To top it all off, my baby is super healthy and thriving - she's in the 90th percentile for her age. I highly recommend Nutramigen... It is SO worth the price.

Lifesaver for all parties involved
Around 3 weeks, our little guy started having a really difficult time digesting anything we gave him: breast milk, Similac, Enfamil, Gerber. We tried all of their sensitive formulas as well and nothing helped him! He would scream for hours trying pass everything. It was torture for everyone involved. Being first-time parents, we thought it was just colic and that’s what we had to deal with. My sister-in-law told me about this formula and she said my niece was a different baby after using it.She wasn’t wrong! Within the first 2-3 feedings, the screaming had stopped and my son was able to pass everything through his body without any issues. We’re not 100% if he had a lactose intolerance or milk allergy as of yet, but this formula has helped him so much! He seems to like it, too! It was an easy switch to make!Just a small note to buyers: it does have an interesting smell. And it will clump up if you don’t mix it well. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic product; highly recommend if your little one is struggling with other formulas or colic!

Disgusting!
Our baby had terrible constipation issues and tummy problems from day one! We were switched from all types of formula (Similac Advance & Pro Advance, Similac Sensitive, Total Comfort and Similac Soy) and our pediatrician recommended we stick with this one. Baby had constant issues and with this formula, but they were just the lesser of two evils! Terrible smell, taste, price and you cannot find it anywhere. Also, the prices go up every time you turn around. Baby has been off this formula completely and ALL symptoms have gone away! Please, do your research and find a pediatrician and formula brand who cares! This formula is NOT good for babies with milk sensitivity. I wish I could have done better, and highly encourage moms to breastfeed for not only your babies sake, but your mental state too!
