Worked for holding my calipers when doing my brakes over the weekend on my ram 1500. Just hook em somewhere on the caliper and somewhere on the frame or control arm and forget it. Definitely easier than a ratchet strap and for the money I might order another set.

These do exactly what they say they do, hold a caliper in place so it doesn't drop to the ground, damage your hose and leak toxic brake fluid all over the place. They're durable enough and inexpensive, kind of a no brainer. I just did my first brake job, and rather than do a balancing act on the wheel housing, decided to play it safe and get these. You want to fix a brake problem, not create more in the process, and these fit the bill. And as a bonus, they also comes in handy for hanging the calipers if you want to spray paint them with heat rated primer and a cover coat.
