Bought with Blood: The Divine Exchange at the Cross

What a well thought out book. He does not back down from how important the cross is and how it changes every aspect of the believers life. It is the key to the promised abundant life. He even briefly hits on the subject of the cross being the end of the law, which I dive into in my book, “Resurrecting the Cross”. I have been immensely blessed by reading this book. It definitely brings a spiritual awakening to one’s life.

This is one of the finest books defining and explaining the "Divine Exchange at the Cross" that I have ever read. Derek's superb explanation, based upon his understanding of Greek and Hebrew, his diligent study of God's Word, and his Spirit anointed insights, reveals in detail how and what Jesus Christ accomplished for humanity through His death on the cross.I would recommend this book to any disciple of Christ, anyone curious about who Christ is and what He has accomplished for humanity, and anyone who yawns in unbelief when Christ is mentioned. You cannot read and take to heart what Derek Prince teaches here without being amazed at what God did for mankind by sending his Son! God has provided for every human need through the power of the Good News of Christ's death and resurrection! "I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God unto Salvation, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek (gentile).This book is a superb unfolding of that Salvation showing clearly that as Christ took upon Himself all of the corruption of the fallen human nature - and all of its consequences - He offered to anyone who would choose to believe Him, all of the Perfection of his nature - and all the consequences of being made perfect in the sight of God Almighty! PTL!!!

This book is an excellent study of the divine exchange at the cross. It is well written and easy to understand. This book is a must read for all who want to go deeper into the things of the Lord. I highly recommend.All views expressed are my honest opinion.

Derek Prince had the wonderful ability to marry the stories of the Old Testament with the principles of the New to show how God's plan for humanity has been a part of his creation from the beginning. If time travel were possible, I might almost be tempted to consider that Prince himself was one of the two men on the road to Emmaus, enlightened by the insights of Jesus. I don't know how many notes I made in my Bible as I read this book, but even they do not equal the number of changes I've made in my Christian walk as a result of reading, weighing and praying about the truths in this phenomenal work.

This book has helped me to not only understand but how to apply the victory we have in Jesus through his blood. Knowing where we stand is powerful but meditating on the sacrifice Christ made and being delivered, walking in the freedom we have in Christ is vital for any Christian. I’m blessed by Derek Prince’s ministry and am glad this was my first read by him.

For anyone wanting a deeper relationship with Jesus, this is a must read book. Every chapter left me wanting to keep reading the next. Derek Prince is one of my favorite authors.

I loved this book, knowing what exchange happened at the Cross makes our identity in Christ known. Derek Prince explains everything in simple easy to grasp terms.

This book has great information, laid out in an easy way to follow and an applicable way to understand it. Would absolutely recommend it.

It is possible to hear mention of the Cross in Christianity and NEVER EVEN BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS...this book explains clearly everything that was involved in Yeshua's death on the cross and what the resurrection means; WHY Christians believe the cross was much more than just a horrible cruel means of execution, that it was an incredible sacrifice - why? The book explains.Any thinking person, serious about figuring out their reason for being on this earth should read this book. It strips away all the superflous churchianity bits and pieces added on by the various denominations over the years and presents the central clear message that is the essential, simple but stunning Christian Gospel. Some people hold views about Christianity which are half-thought out and ill-informed, arrived at without the benefit of having ever been exposed to the real core of the faith - the Gospel or 'Good News' which is what's amazing about grace!. This book enables anyone (who reads it carefully and thoughtfully) to fully comprehend what the message of real Christianity is and why it is completely and TOTALLY different from any other religion on this planet. The only one where God reaches down to us rather than we have to strive to be good enough! Having read this, a person would be equipped to make an informed and intelligent choice for or against Christianity - finally knowing full-well what they are believing or rejecting.I am sure I cannot do the book justice trying to summarise, so excuse this attempt! The book explains that - On the cross the sinless son of God swopped nine different aspects of his perfection, health, goodness and life for all the filth, evil, sickness, rejection, hurt, sin and death of the entire human race. Everything that all human beings have ever thought, said or done that came from less than perfect love, was put onto him and he was punished for it all in stead of us. In exchange, everything we human beings could ever need was set-up for us on the cross - forgiveness, love, acceptance, health etc., but few people ever realise or receive the full impact of that sacrifice. And as a consequence of that swop or 'divine exchange', Jesus even experienced the final separation from Father God that each of us who reject Him, will go through on death. The book explains why each one of us would have to accept the divine exchange personally, in order to make it true in our own life and experience. Unless we positively do that, we have by default rejected the gift and turned down the opportunity to be made right with Father God and to spend eternity with Him. We can not be made right with him by trying to be 'good' or in any other way. Therefore, 'Bought with blood; The Divine Exchange at the Cross' is unique, very special, extremely clear and I think should be required reading for every professing Christian and anyone else seriously considering the reason for living and their eternal destiny. Thereafter, a well-informed and intelligent choice could be made.

In my opinion based on forty plus years of walking with Christ, and working in the book industry, this is the best book ever written on the subject of the complete work of the blood of Christ, it's power, effects and consequences. It's an absolute must addition to any library, it's teaching, invaluable for any discerning believer, assuming it's plain, simple and powerful teaching is heeded and applied.

The truth shall set you free

Another excellent book by Derek Prince. His teaching is simple, easy to understand and biblically sound. I have a nuber of books by him. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand the benefits to us of Jesus' death on the cross more fully. Another Derek Prince book I would recommend is Lucifer Exposed - The Devil's Plan to Destroy Your Life. It tells you everything you could possibly want to know about spiritual warfare so you can be fully 'armed'.
