They're Perler Beads Alright
This is a bag of 6000 black Perler beads. They melt well and are easy to assemble.For best results, I'd recommend using blue painters tape to cover the beads on the pegboard, then poking holes in the tape, transferring the beads to a silicone mat with the tape on the bottom, and ironing them with a layer of parchment paper on top. That's the best way to get a flat melt.

Good for Kids
Got these for summer camp because the kids were RAVENOUS when it came to Perler beads. They had two tubs of 12,000 but managed to use up every single black bead in no time at all. When I brought this in, they loved not needing to sort through hundreds of other colors to find what they needed. These beads melted really well and I had no issues with the quality. Considering these are Perler brand, I expect nothing less.

Don't buy the Minion Perler Bead kits!
Just stock up on Yellow, and get a multi-pack of the other colors (or build your stock of colors like I did). This works with Superman patterns too. I usually get 6000 of the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) and values (white & black). It's easy to think "oh, I'll NEVER use that many beads". This kind of thinking is both wrong and stupid. What's the matter with you?just kidding.It's been said that you can never have too much of a great thing. While I don't specifically believe that (Lobster every night would still get gross after a while), I do believe in being prepared. I'd much rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them. Also, seeing 6,000 of any one thing is wicked satisfying!!!If you're thinking about buying this product, DO IT!!! come on, you know you wanna...
