Small but Mighty
The Knipex Wire Dismantling Tool is a small but mighty addition to my toolkit. Its compact size makes it easy to store just about anywhere, yet it delivers big on performance.Precision & DurabilityI’ve been using this tool daily in the field, and it hasn’t failed me once. The blade is sharp and durable, providing clean, precise cuts every time. I haven’t experienced a single snag, which is a common issue with lesser-quality wire strippers.Ease of UseThis tool is quick, efficient, and easy to handle. It makes splitting wires effortless, and the ergonomic handle provides a solid grip without causing fatigue.Final ThoughtsKnipex nailed it with this one. If you need a reliable, durable, and compact wire dismantling tool, this is it. Whether you’re a professional electrician or a DIYer, this tool is worth every penny.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Highly Recommended!

Knipex never disappoints.
I have several large gauge wire strippers which are slightly cumbersome and not always accurate as to depth of cut. This little stripping tool is simple to use but absolutely has a learning curves, so practice before you hit the job site or begin your wiring project.Overall, for the cost and performance I feel this is a good tool to keep in your arsenal of equipment but I can't honestly say every single cut is perfect. Again, it's a learning curve and I'm still somewhat learning the ins and outs of this tool. The tool is holding up well and the price was low enough to not really stress about.I really like the tool and yes, I would recommend this stripping tool for larger gauge wires but take your time and adjust the blade depth very carefully prior to making any cuts. Every time you change wire, be sure to adjust the blade.

Great fit, form, and function
Does what it's supposed to. I have used for well over a thousand feet of cable and still original blade. Saves me a ton of time striping wire and cable. High quality with Knipex, never disappointed. Fit in hand well. Lock mechanism would be useful.

Nice cable stripper
Most guys have Greenlee cable strippers in the shop. I am partial to knipex tools. This tool works well and is just as easy to use. If you aren’t familiar: there is an adjustable blade to set your cut depth. Test it out on the end of your cable if you aren’t sure. Peels insulation right off.

Decent Jacket stripper
It's a Knipex, although the plastic feels a little chincy, it works well. It's seen a ton of use on multiconductor cable, and when adjusted right makes quick work of stripping jackets.

Very Low quality
As an electrician my brand of choice for my linesmen is knipex so I thought I would add this product to my lineup. Tool is cheap, flimsy. But performed well for the first 3 days of use. After that the blade went completely dull and wouldn’t even score the insulation off of wire anymore. Would return this product but unfortunately it’s past its return date eligibilty.
