Elan Publishing Company 7 Period Teacher Lesson Plan; Days Horizontally Across The Top (W101)

I was an old school kind of teacher who liked to keep written plans instead of just online. This planner was perfect for me. I liked to fill in the overall calendar and then add details later. It was great to have this out and open every day as a reminder of what I needed to cover. Our school did not supply us with a physical planner, so I had to buy one myself. I really liked this one.

I love this planner because it gives me enough space to plan out 7 periods/blocks of time and the pages are visually clear and easy to use. It's a simple planner that's durable and not bulky or heavy. I've been using it for the last few years. The only thing that I wish it had would be a few more extra pages for record keeping/"supplementary data" (It only came with two sheets). But if you prefer to have that part electronically, then this teacher planner is for you.

I like the pliability of the cover. I wasn’t sure I would like it sinceI have had hard back covers before. This works great and allows me to easily get it in and out of my bag without tears or snags.I like the lines to write specifics for notes, ideas or changes.The boxes are a bit small for bigger hand writing of lots of detail. The beat things about it is there are plenty of pages for taking roll/entering grades. There is a small notes section and seating charts.

It’s perfect for light planning and I agree with another comment that you should get it with one more period than needed for after school or other things that need to be done that day. The cover is not as sturdy as I would like, but it’s so inexpensive that I think it’s okay and am considering buying a cover slip to protect it as I carry it to and from school.

I have used Elan plan books for several. Yes they are simple without a lot bells and whistles but it does the job beautifully. I teach Primary visual art and see several different grade levels in each day. This book allows me to keep my lessons up to date and organized.

As a teacher, I appreciate the organization and structure this planner provides. The days across the top allow for easy planning and scheduling, while the seven periods allow for detailed lesson planning. The planner is also durable and easy to carry. I highly recommend this product to teachers seeking a comprehensive and efficient lesson-planning tool.

My district had provided this same planner for years—and then they stopped. Budget cut, I guess. Anyway, lucky for me Amazon carries it. I have 6 periods and use the 7th one provided for daily reminders, notes, etc. It holds up from daily use and taking it to and from school each day.

The planner is good, basic, and the design is as-advertised, they style I like. The package was also delivered next day, which is amazing, but the packaging adhesive was attached to the planner, and ripped the cover as shown in the attached pictures. I tried to remove it carefully so as not to damage it, but I was not successful. I’m not interested in returning it because they’re a nothing functionally wrong with it, but I want to give Amazon the feedback that the packaging damaged the product.
