Goya Foods Chick Peas, Garbanzo Beans, 15.5 Ounce (Pack of 8)

I use them when I am making hummas, and it comes out awesome, as I keep making extra as it is a hit with my friends, a lot better than store bought hummas. The can is loaded with the beans, a lot less water than other brands I have tried. All perfect look beans, no discolored at all and no broken pieces. Kind of hard to open the lid, but I just end up using an electric can opener as it is easier and just ab out as quick and safer to open. I drain out the water, throw into my blender and add the rest of the ingredients, squeezed lemon juice, peanut butter, garlic,olive oil, spices and I'm good to go 30 seconds later. (well, after 15min. of clean up, that is) And I like the best competitive price I get here and that the cans come in very well packed together, not denting like other online supplies I ordered from. A nice little touch.

Great price for a top-quality product. Goya, to me, is the best product of it's class on the market. Chick peas are excellent and alway tasty and well packaged. I've been buying Goya for many years where they are available. I was pleased to find them on Amazon.

Goya is expensive to purchase in a grocery store so when I found a great buy on Amazon, I now purchase the garbanzo, black beans and kidney beans. Once in a while the cans are slightly dented, but not enough to return. The quality of these beans is exceptional. Most canned beans appear over processed so you end up with a thick- watery juice that the beans are in. I rinse my beans before using and Goya are beautiful and taste amazing. Other brands are a waste of money to me because you get more liquid than beans, plus like I said before, they appear to be over processed.

i open the can, drop the beans into a sieve, rinse off the liquid then add the garbonzos .. to ... many things ! such as a tuna/ mayo/ onion/ salsa bowl? ... so easy and so delicious !! the dry clean taste of the beans ... and lazy me, avoids cooking up a batch of elbow macaroni for a quick lunch !! in this heat of summer, my kitchen stays cooler, too..

I get the subscription and usually has 1-2 minor dents. But this time one can was CRUSHED with another dent. The dents don't even line up... so how did that happen?I find it hard to believe it was delivery since all other items in box were intact.

These chick peas are bigger than any other brand I've tried. We enjoy them very much, with some salt, garlic powder, oil & black pepper. They also break down better in hummus, since the're bigger & softer.
