Works as described. Use for small jobs and for fixing my computer. The ratcheting feature is awesome.

I have 2 the Original with the knurling on the shaft with the round design and the newer hex shaft. Sad but the Original design was way better the knurling is lightyears better than the hex design for using it. I have dropped mine and the back piece has piece broken off and I have lost two bits but they are compatible with the generic bit sizes and replaced easy. They grip well and a good weight to it. For as cheap as they are I highly recommend. You will have a bit of wiggle on it with it being detachable but that is expected unless you want to spend $80 and buy an LTT precision ratcheting screwdriver.

Strong screw drive. Compact design perfect for keeping all pieces together. Have worked with it for several jobs . Wish it came with a little pouch to hold rod and handle together. Good quality and very much worth the price. Solve many situation's needs quickly

I took a chance on the Amazon Basic magnetic driver and was surprised at the quality. Very good construction. Very ergonomic handle. Nice assortment of bits. Only issue is that the bits are very difficult to remove and replace in the handle. Otherwise, very good.

This screwdriver has become my go-to for any projects around the house. Many bits are included, which means there's always the one needed close at hand. It isn't very magnetic, however.

This screwdriver has interesting features, and if they all worked, this would be a 5 star review. On the positive side, the ratcheting function seems to work well. It doesn't have every bit I need, but it does have a good assortment. Hitting the top sides of the handle to let the bit tube pop up works...almost. The bits on the top can comfortably be removed, but the tube doesn't extend enough up so that you can easily remove the bits on the bottom half. You need a knife or something to pry them off as the bit gets caught at the lip of the cap. The other design issue is the depth of the shank (metal bar part of the screwdriver) into the handle. I'm sure that the shallow base that holds the shank in the handle is due to the space needed for the tube that holds the bits, but it would have helped if it was about another half inch deeper. It just comes out too easily. For the money, it's handy for simple uses around the house, but it's not for someone that needs this tool for work

This is a very good hand tool. It comes with four tool bit screwdriver elements (Phillips, Slotted, Torx and Allen Key HEX), including three sizes of each of those wrenching elements, so 12 tool bits in all, all of them heat treated for additional wear resistance and reliability. The dozen tool bits are conveniently stored in a stow away compartment. While the actual tool bits are not actually magnetic, the 1/4" Standard Hexagonal (tool bit) receptacle is highly magnetized and provides enough magnetic power to hold onto most standard fasteners. The Ratcheting feature is nice in that it provides plenty of hand torque. This is a very capable tool, particularly for the price. It is a good value, although it should not be treated harshly. Reasonable care should be taken when using this magnetic screwdriver. It should not be hit with a metal hammer as this would damage the tool, beginning with the handle (and tool bit storage compartment). When used as it is intended, this magnetic screwdriver will last for years. The Ratcheting feature can lock-in either way (loosen or tighten) as well as both just like a standard, basic screwdriver. Again definitely a good value for the price.

This screwdriver is bad. Ratchet rotation swaps too easy when you don’t want it to. You’ll be rotating it clockwise and slightly touch it and now it’s going counter clockwise. Now when you actually want to switch it jams and won’t want to switch directions. Also the shaft comes off too easily. I’ve been holding the screwdriver by my side while walking and that shaft will fall off. I’ve been in various situations and places and it falls off. I took the bits out and threw it in the trash. Spend more money and buy a better quality tool.
