Fastest Color Laser I've Ever Used
This printer is, hands-down, the absolute best printer I've ever used in the last 20 years. I have a business where I have to print hundreds of thousands of pages monthly (PowerPoint slides and Excel sheets). I have to print them double-sided (duplex), and in color. With my previous printer it was a chore beyond belief; I had to set aside HOURS to do my printing. Now, printing is an absolute dream. This printer is BLAZING FAST; it can print a 100-page duplex/color job before I've hole punched and bound the previous 100-page print job. I do have a few PowerPoint slides where the background is 60% solid yellow, and when it gets to those pages it does slow down significantly, to maybe 8-10 seconds per page, but after that it continues to churn like nobody's business. Even with all the printing I do, my toner seems to last a significantly long time. The printer will prompt you and say that a cartridge needs to be replaced, but it'll let you set a number of pages for it continue printing (it doesn't force you to replace a cartridge). I'll say "okay" and then type in 1000. 1000 pages later it will prompt me again, and then I'll reevaluate the printing at that time and if I need to replace a cartridge I will. All this to say that it'll let you get every bit of toner out of a cartridge. What else is awesome about this printer? I never jams, I mean never. I also use the document feeder for 8-1/2x14 and it feeds absolutely fine with no double pages. The paper cartridge will hold an entire ream and then some, so you can put in a full ream before it gets empty and prompts you. Color is fine, as-expected. I've purchased off-brand toner cartridges and they've also worked fine and I've had no problems. Oh, it's big, I mean gigantic, and heavy. If you need a fast color laser printer, you would be hard-pressed to find a better printer than this one.If you have any questions about the printer, just ask in the comments and I'll do my best to respond promptly.
