This product does exactly what it claims to. We were never able to get my elderly mother to keep her feet on her wheelchair footrests (with sometimes painful results).These restraints kept her feet in place for her entire trip to the doctor today, going and coming. The only drawback was that it fits her a little too exactly (with barely enough slack on the velcro) as she has large orthopedic shoes. Aside from that concern this is a perfect product! Highly recommended.

These foot restraints are great for wheelchair users who have spasms, twitches, or movement disorders, or for those whose feet like to flop or bounce off the footrests over rough terrain.They fit my chair's footrests well. The velcro keeps then tightly secured the footrests. The heel strap isn't adjustable, but is sized well for use with shoes. In just stocking feet, the fit is more loose.The velcro flaps that secure your feet in are wide and slightly padded, with very good velcro. They have good adjustment range for a variety of footwear.These make using a wheelchair much safer for me. They are well designed, and comfortable.

After trying to figure out how to attach them and stay in place, it required tie wraps. Keeps feet in place.

These are not really made for the job that they are intended, due to the small size. They’re too small when the user is wearingshoes. Even if they're not very big, these will not fit over them. But they do work well if the user only has socks on.

These things are way too loose to loose on my chair, and the Velcro is not sufficient to tighten them up. Very frustrating

This has been perfect for my husband. (6'2", hemiplegic) He only uses one of them because his left foot is mostly paralyzed, it tends to slip off the plastic pedal ALL THE TIME. After installing this on his pedal his foot stays firmly on his pedal. The strap in the back keeps him from pushing his foot too far back and hurting himself. The velcro is strong enough you don't have to tightly strap your foot in to feel safe. My husband is very comfortable using this barefoot as well.

There are no instructions and depending on the design of your wheelchair foot rests you may have some issues getting them attached securely. However, once they are attached securely they work just fine and keep the feet on the foot rests.

These do not fit a standard wheelchair footrest, which have a bar on the outside that connects it to the chair.I had a technician from a wheelchair company check to see if it was just me not understanding how to use them, but he said they did not fit, and there was no way to secure them on the foot pads.Not sure what type of wheelchair these are meant to fit on..
