Works up beautifully
Pros: it is a beautiful color set and it is super soft and squishy. Very easy to work with, and with the mantra worked into a granny square blanket, it looks like a ripple of water. It pulls smoothly from the cake, and isn't to slick to tie knots.Cons: The rolls I got all had been end of the rolls on the line and were connected through factory knots, so the colorway wasn't always consistent. I had to cut and piece it together at times. The yarn itself isn't tightly wound so if you aren't paying too close attention you can snag it on your hook and make a very ugly bump on your project. Granted, that could be me, but I don't usually have that issue with other brands of yarn.

My favorite yarn
I love Mandala yarn. Soft, strong, easy to work with. Colors are fantastic. And Amazon pricing is usually cheaper than my local yarn shop.

My favorite yarn! 🧶🥰
If you aren’t familiar with Lion Brand’s Mandala: Ombré yarn, let me introduce you real quick 😉. This is a 4 weight, or worsted weight yarn that is squishy as all get out! You get 344 yards, 5.3 ozs (for my overseas peeps that’s: 315 meters and 150 grams) of luxury! There isn’t a color way of Ombré that I don’t like. But I fell in love with a few. Balance is one of the ones that pulled me in. As far as coloring goes this is a self striping yarn that doesn’t jump colors but transitions with white to the next color. This particular color way is heavy in green and normally I wouldn’t look at a green yarn twice (unless it’s a sage or a chartreuse) but these greens were calling me. The pink, purple and blues were just tasty incentives for me to get this yarn.Full disclosure, I have used this yarn in different colors before and I know what to expect from it: you are getting yarn that is so soft and squishy, but durable when washing and drying. It is great to make baby items, toys, clothing and SHOULD NEVER be used for kitchen items. It wasn’t made for that. This was made to create wearables, pocket books, blankets, book bags, the list is endless. But kitchen items, no.I really love this yarn 🧶. I was making a poncho *see picture*, but I ordered more to make a cardigan. It will be so lovely to wear. You need to try this yarn if you are a fiber artist ( knitter, crocheter, weaver). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️<10 stars because it is that beautiful 🤩🥰🧶🧶🧶

Soft, fun to work with, doesn't fray too much, good colors, doesn't tangle too badly, etc. great yarn.

Soft
It’s super soft and a gorgeous color gradient. I do feel like it frayed and knotted easily, but overall fairly easy to use.

Soft, beautiful ombre, threads do separate though
This is a very soft, fairly thin 4 weight yarn. The yarn does separate into each strand rather than staying as one more solid strand. It takes a little getting used to as it tends to split on the hook at times. I really like the ombre effect of this yarn. For this particular blanket I rolled 4 skeins together, matching each color. I didn't want it to change colors over and over but to morph into the next color only once throughout the blanket. There are tiny clear sequins that are attached with a very thin elastic cord. You don't see or feel the cord and really don't feel these sequins either (very very little). But they glimmer in the light and must be the stars in the "Sunset Nights" line. I ordered a different color of this same line as it makes up a lightweight baby blanket and is beautiful.

Amazing quality
I purchased 3 skeins of this yarn about 6 months ago and did a project with it.I completely fell in love with the colour and the quality and I re-purchased 16 more skeins of it to do more projectsMy only downside is: it’s a bit expensive for the weight. I do understand that’s due to import fees as it comes from the USI Highly recommend itIt’s warm, not itchy and doesn’t shed

Great for crocheting and gorgeous colours
I'm a new crocheter but I'm used to knitting and I've had my fair share of terrible yarns! This isn't one of them- Lion brand seem to be excellent as I've got this yarn (my fave) and also the thinner yarn in gnome. This one is super soft and comfortable to crochet with, and I've been able to frog it a couple of times as I learn how to chain and it still holds its shape together. It's very smooth to crochet with too and allows me to see my stitches- really important when your learning. The colours are so pretty too- I actually wouldn't usually pick purple but the gradient stood out to me. They are true to the pictures as well, the gnome yarn really is that bright and the purple is rich. I'm excited to buy more when I get better...they feel too nice to make practice projects with!
