Holds Lots of Paper, Sturdy, Lip, Angled.
The document easel is great. Just what I wanted. Holds lots of paper. Lip at bottom keeps papers from sliding down and it's about an inch, so plenty of space. Stays upright, doesn't collapse unless I make it. It's made well. Only "Con" is the Clasp paper holder. It doesn't stay up, just slides down. If you are holding papers it stays put. Otherwise it slides down. I only have about 30 sheets in the holder, most not clipped. Since it's at an angle, the paper stays put. It's a great holder, just what I needed.

Good product but can be better
I purchased this document holder to guide me when following craft patterns and instructions. There are a few different type of document holders out there. The reason I chose this one was because the whole guiding slider is clear. I wanted to be able to see through a few lines or even the whole paragraphs while I’m working on my project. Pros: - It holds the document tightly enough without leaving a mark on the paper. - The sliding guide can be mounted on either the left or right side of the clipboard. - The sliding guide stays firmly to its position. - The leg in the back can be folded in and the document holder lays flat when not in use. Cons: 1. The top clip slider does not hold in position well. It tends to slide up and down especially when only a few sheets of papers are clipped to it. 2. The leg in the back does not stay folded in. 3. The standing angle position is not adjustable. However, I did not let these minor issues from having to go through the returning process. I do like this document holder. So, I improved 2 out of 3 issues. Here's what I did. Hopefully, these may help you as well: 1. To keep the clip unit from sliding, I first, slided upward to expose the back area where it slides up and down. Then, with a glue gun, I spreaded a very thin layer of adhesive on the back of the board, where the clip slided up and down (see the image). After the glue had dried (less than a minute), I slided the clip unit back down. 2. To keep the leg in the back folded in, I used Velcro with adhesive back. I cut a few small pieces of Velcro and attached one side to the bottom edge of the leg, and the other side of the Velcro to the board at about the same positions as the other Velcro pieces on the leg (see attched image). With these fixes, this document holder has been working well and met my needs for it.

Best Document Holder: Very Versatile
My desk at work is not ergonomically correct, which is not happiness for my head, neck, wrists, or back. However, I have tried to purchase multiple products to correct that issue. I purchased this document holder and placed it adjacent to my desk so I don't have to constantly keep looking down in order to type my notes, which relieves repetitive stress on my neck. It helps alleviate headaches and BPPV. I like the fact that it has a wide base, so I can throw a lot of documents on there in a rush. It has a clip at the top, so I can turn documents around for privacy when needed. Lastly, it has a clear line by line reader to help you keep your place when reading or typing a document. I am very happy with this and many of my co-workers are jealous- as they should be :).

good for a year...
So this was a good product for about a year -- and then it wasn't. I used it every day. One day it fell onto the floor and the silver magnetic clip popped off. Easy enough fix. The bottom tray which also holds several sheets of paper popped off. I mean, it is plastic so I get it. Ever since, the durability has been terrible. If it gets knocked down on my desk the bottom tray pops off. The magnetic clip no longer is tight. I chose this one for the high ratings and it was more expensive so I thought it would be more durable. nope. Do you know how hard it is to find these things in an actual office supply store? Anyway, I'm back here needing another one...it won't be this one.

Line reader uneven. Cheap, but good enough.
It's cheaply made, but it works OK. I like the sliding clip. The line reader is not level, and it cannot be adjusted along that axis (only up and down movement). It is also difficult to move the slider up and down due to inconsistencies in the plastic from the molding process. Arrived on time, packaging was very sufficient to protect it. It is similar to a plastic ruler in that it seems sturdy enough to do its job but would snap very easily under pressure.

Sturdy build
I bought this to hold up my 500+ page spiral-bound typing class textbook (pictured) so it would be closer to my computer screen and not lying flat on my desk. It does the job well. It holds the weight of this big book with no trouble. I have not tried it with a non-spiral-bound (i.e. non-fold-in-half-able) textbook because my desk is not wide enough to accommodate both that and my computer, but I'm sure it would work just as well. There are rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on the desk. The kickstand on the back folds flat like the back of a picture frame. If you were using a much smaller collection of papers, you might get some use out of the clear plastic bar that slides up and down to hold your papers in place. The silver clip at the top also slides up and down to accommodate different paper lengths. As I said, I use it to hold a textbook while I type. You could also use it to hold up a recipe book while you are cooking, a tablet to read, watch a movie, etc., or anything else you might need to stand up.
