It's perfect for making handmade incense! All I do is add a teaspoon to my ground herbs and mix with water and it roll it on a stick and it stays, it's a really great binder. Plus I use it to thicken my chili too

It works. I haven't exactly compared brands, and I don't care to. It thickens up my ice cream quite noticeably. The reason I deducted a star is because my bag is unsealable. It might just be my bag but the sealing mechanism on my bag actually separated from one side of the bag. I had to place it in a ziploc bag so its not a big deal, but just slightly annoying. Otherwise, its guar gum. I doubt there is a big difference in the product between brands and this is a cheaper one.

The formula for the soy milk i use in my coffee got changed, so I wasn't enjoying my coffee as much as I had been. I add 1/2 teaspoon of this, mixed with 1 teaspoon of Lakanto monk fruit granulated sweetener, to a quart of soy milk in the blender. It will clump easily if it is added alone. I also add 1/4 teaspoon of xanthan gum, and add all of these while the blender is going.Take it easy with this stuff. It's a very thin line between creamy and slimy.

The size is great because it will last a long time and for an affordable cost. I added this powder along with Arabic Gum to my ice cream, it was excellent, just like the one from the store

This is definitely going to take some trial and error on my part, but it does gel up nicely. I purchased this to use as a thickening agent in lotion. So far epic fail, but that is my fault I’m sure. This would make a great hair gel!
