OMAX M83EZ-C02 Digital Lab Trinocular Compound LED Microscope - 40X-2500X Magnification - Features USB Digital Camera & Double Layer Mechanical Stage

I had not used a microscope since high school, so I had to relearn everything. This microscope is much better than anything used 40 years ago. it is a very nice piece of equipment that will allow any level of skill to pursue their quest into the microscopic world. Highly recommend it. It appears that it should last a life time. The camera worked well, easy to install software. It is amazing that such precision is available for such reasonable prices.

Seems like a great microscope and works, so far, with no problems. Be aware there is NOTHING included in the box. No manual, list of parts, directions, setup info, inventory list (what's in the box), inspected by ... With some searching, a manual was available on the internet/Omax site. My box had been opened and resealed ... as far as I can tell, nothing missing. Viewing head was NOT screwed on and came off when microscope removed from foam/plastic bag. It was well packed (a good thing), since the box was obviously dropped and had a dent in one corner.

Well... I called customer service, got voicemail. I called Tech Support, got voicemail. I'm having SO many problems with this microscope. First, nothing changes when I move the slide to the east or to the west, to the north or to the south (as one looks at a flat map)... it's as though there's a permanent picture stuck to the lenses. Even when I change slides, there's a permanent foot-looking thing in the same place in the field of vision. The software for the camera is really crazy. It shows the device name, but when I click on it, a screen appears that says "Access is denied" .... ARGHHH. I'm thinking this must have been a "used" item. I'm thinking it's gonna be returned. I'm thinking I'll buy a better one.I sent the thing back. A refund was authorized. It was sent LAST week via UPS with all the appropriate return labels etc., and it was received by the seller last week. No refund. No answer. No customer service. Next... I'll be seeking legal counsel over the $$ that should have been refunded to my credit card but hasn't been. I paid the seller promptly. Seems the seller would refund the $$ to me by now.Still no refund. 05/09/2021. In the meantime, I pay interest on my purchase.

I am basically hapy with this microscope. Now that I've figured out how to use it well, it is easy to use and has reasonable quality. There is no instructive documentation that comes with it, so it took me a while to figure out how the camera connects to the software. When th USB connects, the camera does not show up as a device on the computer. It does show up as a device in the provided software. By clicking on that item, the canera connects to the software after you tell it that i's ok to use your computer's portrait camera. After that, it shows what you are seeing through the microscope, except that the field of view is less than that seen by eye. Once I got it all working, it is serving my needs very well

I am the new user, I can't compare with any other but I am happy with the product, it works fine and easy, it is valuable.

The media could not be loaded. La calidad es increíble, metálico con un hermoso acabado clásico, en todos los aumentos se ve muy bien, la cámara tiene la calidad que esperarías en una cámara de 5mp, pero con el detalle de que el software que trae para utilizar en la pc es muy completo y con interfaz simple, la posibilidad de grabar o fotografiar las observaciones es algo que agradezco muchísimo, en fin, es un producto destacable y a un muy buen precio para lo que es.

The microscope is just fine, but the camera and the accompanying software are very poor quality. If you are buying this to be able to record images, don't. The quality is poor and the software is not user friendly. You will spend a significant amount of time just trying to figure out how to use it just to realize that it is simply crappy software (which is fitting, because it is a crappy camera). I am using it on a Mac. Maybe the PC software is better, but the camera itself isn't very good.

I had reached out to the company because I had an issue with my camera. I never heard back from them, but they did replace the camera! It showed up at my door today and was a pleasant surprise, so I'm not as upset as I was previously when I thought they were ghosting me. Anyway, all is well. Good product at a good price.
