Laptop case is Okay.
The case is a good value. I did not like the soft white cotton liner, because it looks like it will tear easily eventually. This case looks like it will be all right for $20 for a year or so.

Everything is good except the zipper pulls
I love everything about this laptop case except for the zipper pulls, which I'll get to later. The build quality is remarkably high with excellent materials and attention to detail. Even though it's advertised for 13.3" laptops, my 15" Retina display MacBook Pro fits. It's form-fitting, but no problems whatsoever with insertion and removal. I also tested a 14" HP Pavillion. It had plenty of clearance at the top of the bag.Note that this product is more of a handled sleeve than a case -- it is not designed to carry very much. With a laptop in it, the bag doesn't offer much room for anything else besides printed documents and small flat knick-knacks like cables, USB sticks, pens, and perhaps a small notepad. Things that can bend and flex are best. I advise against over stuffing. An AC adapter will not fit in here with the laptop. This doesn't bother me, since I am used to slim/minimalist neoprene sleeves for my laptops, but this is something to be aware of. For conferences and meetings, this case is perfect. This case should go inside another bag, like a messenger bag or backpack, when traveling. On its own, it can be carried under the arm or via the pull-out handles. The handles are convenient when you are managing multiple bags. Just loop your arm around it to keep your hands free. The denim fabric is attractive and fashionable. It doesn't look overly like a laptop bag.The padding thickness is as expected. Just don't plan on dropping the bag. It will not offer impact protection. I did a spill test on it. The denim layer is not hydrophobic -- it will soak in liquids quickly, so immediately wipe off the surface after an accident. The inside pocket however, is protected with an impermeable wetness barrier. I felt around inside the pocket and confirmed that water did not seep in.The zipper pulls are the only things I don't like. Notice that the hole for the zipper pull is a rounded rectangle. Most zippers on bags, backpacks, and accessories have a circular hole (or less commonly, a D hole) which allows the pull to move around freely in all directions from the slider body (the "shoe-like" part of the zipper). This is a small detail that I never really thought much about, but it makes a big difference. I checked on several other laptop cases, DVD storage binders, and backpacks and they are all circles. The rounded rectangle, while it looks nice, sometimes catches the slider cap at a bad angle and will need to be freed, unless you like pulling zippers in an awkward perpendicular direction against the length. (I do have an Elecom DVD case from Japan that has a square hole with a similar usability issue.)Manufacturer provided evaluation unit for impartial review.

Gray has brown tones in certain light
I received a coupon to receive this item for free so that I could test and evaluate it for a review. When I think of denim, I think of a fabric that is much different than is used on this bag. It is heavyweight, and while the one I selected is gray, in certain angles it picks up brown tones in the fabric. However, otherwise, the pattern is much like the photo. The zipper side pocket has smaller pockets that will hold business cards, cell phone or calculator, pencils/pens, and even the cord for your computer. The inside is very nicely lined and padded. There is a second open pocket on the opposite side where you would be able to put loose items, however since it doesn't have a zipper, and the opening doesn't go completely across, you are limited in size and security in that pocket. The zippers are plastic, zipping around the top from either side. Both sets of zippers on mine worked smoothly. This is not designed to be TSA safe, so you will have to remove your computer if you go through security. It looks and feels professional, and the design and stitching contribute to the over all look. I am actually using it to carry my various tablets and appreciate the slim look and feel.At this price point, I would be very happy to purchase this item on my own, and would likely carry it with a gray suit.

This is really more of a sleeve with handles.
PROS:* Soft liner to prevent scratches* Slightly padded* Handles stow away easily* Light weight* Stitching is clean* Zipper worksCONS:* Only fits very thin, small laptops (netbooks, MBAir, etc)* Fuzzy insides prevent rubber feet from sliding easily* Not much room for anything else, like a power brickI got one of these from the manufacturer in exchange for a review.
