I guess you can say I'm a bit of a planner addict. I love anything that helps me appear to have my life in order. The first thing that jumped out to me about this journal was the beautiful cover. The same image appears on both sides of the hard-backed cover and the spine has 2019-2020 embossed in gold. It has many of the common parts of most planners like: Calendar overview for 2019 - 2020, A list of holidays from 2019-2021, Contact pages, Long Term Planning pages, Monthly calendars followed by weekly calendars that provide approximately 10 lines per day (Sat/Sun are split in half). The end of the planner provides another set of future planning pages as well as pages for notes. All of these are common and handy to have. The features this planner has that separate it from the rest are my favorite parts about it. The months are tabbed along the side, making switching from month to month very easy. There are 2 ribbon bookmarks which allow you to keep up with both the whole month planning page as well as your week page. There is an elastic pen loop on the side, as well as an elastic band that holds the planner shut. Finally, there is a small accordion pocket inside the back cover. This is perfect for receipts and coupons. Also, one thing to note is that this is a perfect student planner as it runs from July to July.

I was skeptical about the low price of this planner. I was also unsure if I would like one without a spiral binding. I decided to take a chance and I'm super glad I did!The pages are thick and smooth, the book lays flat without me feeling like I'm going to ruin the binding, there's two bookmark ribbons in addition to the elastic band, there's an elastic pen holder, the cover is luxurious and bright, the monthly tabs are quite useful, and there's a nifty pocket in the back.The contents are similar to other planners, such as: yearly overview, list of holidays, contacts, monthly calendars, weekly planning, future planning, and notes.PLUS it came with a warranty card! I can return this for a full refund FOR ANY REASON! I am smitten and will always come back to this merchant for my yearly planners!

Tucked inside this planner was a card offering me a gift if I'd leave a review. It does ask for an "unbiased" review but also says, "Please do not mention or show this card in your review." I bought this journal largely because of its good reviews! But now I don't trust them, and for good reason. The planner has a pretty cover, but the interior paper is thin and the back pocket is only glued down to the back cover. This planner can't handle the constant daily work I put my planner through, especially that all-important back pocket. I really don't think it would have 4.9 out of 5 stars with 1180 reviews without that gift offered. Folks, honesty in reviews is critical to a good online purchase! If you're letting your review be influenced by a dollar-store gift you're compromising your integrity and selling the rest of us short. I'm sending this one back.

This planner provides everything as described, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like the quality of the materials. Given the cheap price, I actually expected it to be of lower quality, but I'm so happy with the thick cover that has a nice sheen to it and the thick, off-white paper. I have had planners this size for along time as they are most convenient, being large enough to write what I need but small enough to fit in my purse. What I've been missing out on all these years, that I'm so grateful this one has, is the pen holder that is elastic and actually fits any pen. I use two different colored pens in my planner to be honest, so the only thing that would get me to buy a different one next year is if I find one exactly like this but that has TWO pen holders. How cool would that be? I may be the only one who wants that, though. I'm often using an extra tab or paper clip to hold an extra spot in my planner, so the double book marks are especially helpful. This journal at a bookstore would totally cost more. I do wonder how this company keeps the price so cheap, and I hope I'm not supporting child labor or anything. A promise that this was made by fair trade practices is the only other thing that would truly make it better.

I have been looking for the perfect planner for my new position and I have finally found it! I'll admit, I was skeptical because the price was so reasonable ~ especially compared to other planners, but I read the reviews and I was convinced to try it.I know it's just a planner, but I have to say, I was so excited when I opened it yesterday and saw that it is exactly what I had been looking for. Not only does it have a month at a glance, it has the days of the week spread on adjacent pages, with plenty of room to write. The pages are a creamy, yellowish color and are thicker than most planners ~ which is great for non ballpoint pen users like me. The size is perfect as I'll be carrying it everywhere I go so that the people I work with can make appointments with me on the fly. It is also really pretty with the same design on the front and back.I am officially a forever customer as I'll be buying one each year!
