We have two kids who attend a nature preschool and they are outside every single day of the year in Minnesota where the winters can be brutal. These socks are the ones I order for school. They are soft and they come in cute patterns and best of all, they work. My girls have never complained of cold feet. Paired with quality boots, these are great. I have taken my girls' socks and shoes off after they come in from the cold and their feet are warm and toasty. I will be ordering more for this year.

I really am not a crazy person, but with the news of the impending Polar Vortex 2019 headed toward the Midwest, I was left scrambling for a way to keep my dog warm, or rather my dog's FEET, when he needed to go outside. He is a lab with a pretty thick coat, but he tends to get cold feet outside when the temps drop at all below 0º. I knew we were in trouble with the forecasted record lows, so I did some brainstorming. I didn't want to invest in boots, not knowing if he would even wear them. I started thinking about mittens and then got the idea for small wool socks. This was actually a GREAT purchase! There were enough pairs to have some ready-to-go sets while others were drying. I used some bandaging tape around the socks to keep them on, but yes—SUCCESS! They worked like woolen mittens for his feet! He never once sat down or lifted up his paws from excessive cold. I'd call that a win. That said, I'm sure they'd work wonderfully on children's feet, too. :)

These socks are exactly what I was looking for! Needed warm socks for my three year old to stay warm tromping around in the snow this winter, and these seem perfect. They are soft, warm, very cute, and have a decent percentage of wool in them, especially for a toddler sock. And at a great price! You won’t find wool socks at Carters, that’s for shure.The colors are such that you could split the batch into “boy” and “girl” socks, three each. They are gender neutral enough though, that you could put them on boys or girls and have them still be cute. I live the dairy isle design too, because it feels festive in the darkest, coldest time of year.Only had to trim a couple long threads at the top, very minimal and didn’t affect the sock at all. Overall, I’m very impressed. Now to search for adult sized ones!

My girls love these socks, and they worked very well keeping their toes warm while skiing! It was their first time seeing snow at all, so I wasn't sure how they'd do. I know having warm toes can make all the difference - they had a blast!

The quality of the socks is fabulous. Nice wool blend, which is hard to find. Medium weight. We bought size range 8 - 12 years for my 9 year old and they fit just right. I would add, that I also have a 12 year old daughter, and they are too small for her. So I say that this size would probably not work for an 11 or 12 year old, unless they have small feet.

My daughter is very picky about her feet, so I was worried, but didn't have to be - these were a BIG hit. She absolutely loves how soft and comfy they are, the colors are really cool and the fit is absolute perfection. Highly recommend these socks!FYI - my daughter wears a size 12 kids shoe and I ordered the size 4-7Y and they are PERFECT!

I wanted warm, thick socks for my toddler since it's impossible to keep slippers on him inside the house. I'm very pleased with these socks, they're quite thick and soft, they're a bit bigger on my 2-year-old (he wears size 8T shoes) but that's fine, he'll grow into them. We washed them in the regular cycle and they did not shrink at all. Good quality, nice prints and colors. Would buy again.

The socks are of very high quality and will keep young feet very warm in cold temps. I was so impressed with them that I bought a set for three of my grandkids. Excellent value.
