These have been great for removing extra epoxy from ceramics without damaging the ceramic. They're a bit slow to remove epoxy, but that gentleness is probably why it does not damage to the ceramic.

These are the perfect grit for me working on my 71 Cb750 project and for polishing aluminum for that brushed look vs. a full polished finish for aluminum. 800 grit is perfect for this application.

these work well to polish aluminum but they shed material and disintegrate vey quickly - like about 90 seconds of polishing.
