Pro Backpack, Black, One Size

Very ‘roomy’ and comfortable. A-lot of pockets and options. Exactly what I needed

I've been using this backpack for traveling over the last 3 months. I had three key criteria when purchasing: - Functionality: lots of pouches, organization, capacity - A "luggage sleeve" that holds the backpack nicely on to an extended luggage handle - A professional look This backpack meets all those marks. Most backpacks look like...well...backpacks. This one gets as close to a sleek briefcase look as possible while still being a backpack. I find the organization and capacity just as functional as my OGIO and SwissGear backpacks. Sure, I miss some of the extra external zipper pouches, but clearly those have to be sacrificed if you want the clean external look. The pack performs well when attached to my carryon luggage and doesn't tend to want to rotate around the handle. It's also quite well padded in the shoulder straps and comfortable carrying throughout the airport, and I tend to carry a lot of weight. So far it hasn't shown scuffs or other wear that impinge on the professional look.

This Samsonite Pro backpack feels very well made, which is what I expect from the brand. The storage capacity is impressive without being bulky—there are multiple compartments that make it easy to keep things organized, and I like that the laptop compartment opens flat, which makes packing and airport checks smoother. The padding inside is excellent, giving peace of mind that a laptop and tablet will be well protected. The overall size is practical for daily commutes and travel. It’s roomy enough to hold electronics, cables, and some personal items, yet not oversized to the point of being awkward to carry. The durability also stands out; the zippers, seams, and fabric all feel strong and high quality. For travel, the SmartSleeve is especially handy since it slides over luggage handles, making airport transfers easier. The built-in USB port is a thoughtful touch, though you do need your own power bank to make it useful. At just over 3 lbs, it’s not the lightest backpack, but the comfort of the straps and the way it distributes weight make it manageable for long commutes. Overall, this is a backpack that combines quality, protection, and travel-friendly features in a very practical way.

Really nice number of pockets for organizing items, seems well-built and durable. I love the laptop pocket and tablet pouch, and the water bottle holder is nicer and a bit bigger than the one in the older version of the backpack my spouse has.

This bag is surprisingly lightweight, yet has tons of compartments for all your business travel needs, and looks smart riding atop your rolling carry-on.

Seems good quality and durable item.

I received this backpack in May 2021. It is the beginning of July. The backpack is tearing in 3 spots. I am not very rough on it and have only used it for 3 round trips. The compartments are great but the longevity is not what I expected or what I paid for.
