this is a good kit it is will put together and a lot of good instructing on what and how to do the work with

Purchased hoping to solve a slipping problem. For the past several months my tranny had to warm up for 5 to 10 minutes before being able to drive away. It would just engage in first move 40 or 50 feet then start slipping. No forward movement just high rpms until I put in park and waited for it to warm up. If you are mechanically inclined, have the tools and time this may solve your issue if similar to mine. instructions are strait forward and there is an excellent u tube video to help you out. Just search 5r55e valve body.

Shipped promptly, packaged carefully, all good on those counts. Not to difficult to put it, mostly just your ability to read and follow directions - I checked off stuff on the instructions as I completed them. It was actually kind of fun to do, as I've never been inside an auto trans before, it was cool. The kit did tighten up the shifting in my Ranger! Shift firmness is noticeable now - not harsh but you know when it shifts; I used the "Medium" shift-firmness spring; next time I do one of these I'll probably use the "Soft" shift-firmness spring. I did use the technical support line, they were friendly and very helpful (I'd only put in 3 quarts and they pointed out that I had to put in more. Don't forget to have LOTS of ATF on hand - when you take out the shift body, it lets the torque converter drain about halfway down, and it took 7 quarts of ATF (slowly, while idling).
