SEOH Support Stand w/Rod Cast Iron 4 x 6

I needed a few extra ring stands for lab work and picked these up because of their low cost and fast shipping. Since a lab can never have too many stands I don't regret their purchase, but I'm not completely satisfied either. The primary problem is their size. While they look normal in the picture, they are actually slightly smaller than traditional ring stands. Other than that? They are great. Durable (small) cast iron base with black wrinkle finish paired with what appears to be a chrome-plated steel rod. Just check the measurements before you order.

Rough casting and paint job on base -1star, lock washer should be included for the rod connection -1star, the base dimensions are 7x11 an error in our favor +1star. The stand is quite heavy/sturdy but its not artwork. Have no idea where they got 4x6 from.

It was a good buy for the money, but I've got to watch the balance when using a tall burette attached to it. My fault for not ordering a larger stand.

Fits nicely under the hot plate that I use to heat my nano particle solution on. Used with glass rods as electrode holders.

High quality materials and construction. I particularly like the weight of the base. For the price it's a recommended purchase, it's all to common these days to find inferior laboratory hardware; especially for lab stands, supports, and hardware. This one meet my expectations in every way. Highly satisfied with this purchase.
