There were plenty of warning signs in other reviews about this product and I should have paid attention to them or at least read the reviews before buying this. I had the same issue with the product being completely melted and having re-congealed to one side of the container. The safety seal underneath the lid was not sealed to the container at all. It looks like they're having some issues with their induction sealer. I think the worst thing of all was the smell. This particular balm just smelled old and musty and actually smelled like it was rancid oil. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt since it is positioned as an organic product and used it once just to see if it provided some incredible moisturizing effect. It really felt no different than the previous product I used. Combine that with the fact that it just smelled terrible and it was not worth using so I ended up returning it. I'll definitely be considering another product after this. I also gave it two stars on value and not more because even though it is a great price on a per ounce basis it didn't actually provide any value to me because it was so bad.

For the most part it does keep the flyaways and straighten my beard in place but after about 5-6 hours I notice that the some hairs start to stick out. Maybe it’s because I’m not using enough or that’s how it is. However, I don’t find this really a huge problem considering it’s easy to reapply. For the most part this product is something I wouldn’t mind buying again.

My husband prefers scented beard balms. But I got this when he started growing a beard. It’s nice and works well. But my husband prefers scented. So if you like natural oil scent, this is great!

This product seems to do the job, but it is so stiff coming out of the jar that it is difficult to apply evenly.

I really love this beard balm. It works great! It doesn’t have a smell and goes on nicely. I have bought multiple containers and will continue to use this product in the future. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a great beard balm the doesn’t have an unpleasant odor and does a really good job at softening a rough beard.

Has a stonge shea butter scent which my boyfriend didn't love, bit is still less scented than ones with added fragrances. Has a nice conditioning feel.
