I only need to extend my Inet about 100 ft. from my house to my metal barn. Will this product work or is this option overkill?

It will work up to 5kilometers I use it for 1000 feet with strong signal At 100 feet it will work as well. Then put a small switch at the barn end and attach any equip you need, computers, wireless ap, printers. Whatever

How will this perform at 150 yards with trees in the way?

I have used these at golf courses where you can't see through the trees because they are so thick and my radios still work perfect. No problems at all. These will work through trees
